We had a lovely stay here for a short but sweet two nights in Oxford! We wanted somewhere walkable to the city center yet peaceful & affordable, and this definitely met our desires & more. We're grateful that someone stayed to greet us even though we arrived a little bit after reception hours, although the instructions for letting ourselves in were very clear. Our room felt quite spacious, the view was lovely, bathroom & beds were clean, and breakfast in the sunny garden room was a delight. We would absolutely stay again & would recommend to others 😊

No skimping. Generous with tea/ coffee biscuits slippers towels . Everything you could want for an overnight stay. Breakfast well thought out and fresh. Great instructions for access after hours. Lovely furnishings and comfy beds. We will be back there.

Loved having bfast in the garden

Staff were all so nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too. Best of all was the location. Posh but close to stores/sites.

Quad room was large and had everything we needed including a fridge. The bathroom was spacious and modern. The buses were easy to navigate and an easy trip to the centre of town. Only a three minute walk to bus stop. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and you are sat in a beautiful conservatory overlooking the back garden watching the birds and squirrel’s. I would definitely stay again.

What a lovely hotel - such lovely rooms, garden and amazing staff, and only a 20 min to Oxford centre or a 7 min bus ride!

A nice hotel with a beautiful garden. Breakfast in the conservatory with view into the garden was nice The owner tries to make the make the stay comfortable with small but nice things like a bus time plan in the foyer or a coffe machine in the room or the offers at the buffet breakfast

Very quaint hotel that was perfect for our overnight stay in Oxford. We even looked into trying to stay another night but all the rooms were booked! :) There is a very nice green space that we used to relax and read. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely in every way

Perfect stay

The staff was great, the location was perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was very good. Room size was excellent as well (Room #3). Only really had two issues. First the light in the bathroom was blinking on and off when we arrived and could not be repaired until after our visit. Nothing they could because of the type of lighting unit. We had two heaters for the room but it appeared that only 1 worked (the heater on right side). It did not affect our comfort in the room but was a minor annoyance. I would really give a 4.5 out of 5 if I could, but scoring system does not allow this. Would recommend this hotel for a visit to Oxford, very reasonble cost for a February trip, info and staff were very good.

A very nice location and very neat.

Nice hotel but third bed for child on the floor was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. Could definitely use with getting an actual mattress instead of a down pad.
