Needs a good refurbishment and upgrade room amenities.

An ex Premier Inn hotel so the rooms were as you would expect but half the price. The staff are always lovely and welcoming, room clean and comfortable. Excellent position amongst shops, pubs and restaurants and on bus route to city centre. Free parking a huge bonus.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. Always have dealt with Joy and Hassan! These two folks are wonderful!

Ensuite floor was filthy. No USB sockets which is poor for any hotel in 2026

Our room was just great. Plenty big enough for an 8 day stay. Everything worked and the TV was fine. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and powerful enough, despite a few stray shoots of water from the rear where it was not best coupled. The bathroom showed some signs of tiredness. There were signs of water damage and the mirror though good enough, had edges showing de-silvering. The reception staff and management were so helpful and friendly. We were really impressed by the attidude show and felt well looked after. The position of the hotel in Shirley is excellent. The Saracens Head pub in front is handy and very good likewise. Overall, we felt the hotel was excellent value for money and gave us a brilliant stay. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay with an extremely friendly check in with a lovely lady called Joy on reception. Room was very spacious and quiet with a modern, clean bathroom and great shower pressure. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of free parking, nice restaurants and bars nearby as well as shopping. Will definitely stay here again when flying from Birmingham Airport.

Great budget hotel with ample parking and comfortable, clean facilities. Located next to a pub serving food including breakfast and a short walk from Wether spoons and Aldi/Asda. Definitely would recommend 5*
