The pool was nice and the beach was nice as well. The services were very bad. Food and drinks were terrible. Elena at the bar upstairs was good and also Mike at the bar located next to the pool, but he was limited on mixing the drinks. he could do only what the sort offered him. There is a bar (in the lobby) that was suppose to stay open until midnight. I went to the bar at around 11:00 and I was told that they just closed, but they could serve me some water. Nice! Who will go to a bar at 11:00 to have water with ice and probably a lemon? The room we had was a loft on the second floor facing a street. I did not mind the street, but I had no idea that the street is a major street (many cars, motorcycles etc). The lobby is nicely decorated and I was impressed with that when I walked in, but after I was there for a few days I realized the mistake that I made. Honestly, I left earlier! I am not exaggerating at all if I say that you can get a better vacation in Cancun at a 3* resort than here. And if you want a clean room, get your own broom! They will not clean your room unless you pay $50.00 and $25.00 every day after! Even Motel 6 provides this basic service. If you do not pay for the room to be cleaned, you have great chances to run out of toilet tissue. So, have a broom and extra toilet tissue with you! You may need them more than you need them at home! Big surprise for a 5* family resort!

We did not get our reserved room, the refrigerator filtered watered tasted terrible and we had to change rooms mid stay because of noise. Other than that it was pleasant

My family of 5 booked a 1 bedroom at the Henderson Lofts June 3-9th 2018. The bunk beds and high end master bedroom furniture in the pictures sold us. We paid $390 per night and $360 in taxes and fees. Total we paid $3030 to Expedia for 7 nights. My overall first impression of the resort was WOW! The main lobby and front entry is very grand and oozes luxury. When we got to the room my first impression was good. Obviously the hotel was very new. The closer I looked, it was obvious the room was not cleaned properly from the previous guests. I called the front desk and talked to the manager on duty. I was reassured it was cleaned and ready for us to be there. After looking further I called back to have new linens brought up to me. When housekeeping came in, she confirmed we should not have been in the room the way it was. The manager on duty apologized and gave us an amazing upgrade to a 2 bedroom for the 6 out of 7 of our nights! We had to move back to the 1 bedroom for our last night which was a little frustrating. I looked past it because the room was so much bigger and they gave us a $400 credit for the hassle of moving. My biggest would be the extra fees when checking out. There was a 1 time $185 “departure housekeeping fee”, $75 “Loft administration fee”, $40 PER DAY “Loft amenity fee”, and taxes on all these items. There was over $500 in fees I was not expecting! Overall the resort is top knotch quality, but has some kinks to work out because it is so new.
