Staff was friendly and welcoming. Our stay was so comfortable, and the hotel was very conveniently located. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was awesome! They were very helpful and friendly and attended to issues we had in a very timely manner. Our room was always cleaned every day. Although the property had wifi issues during our stay, they dealt with the problem as well as they could. They are centrally located to just about everything…restaurants, shops, landmarks. If I have a negative comment, it would be the flight of stairs we had to take after a day of exploring the city. They have no elevators.

Everything was great. There are many stairs to the room, but staff carried our bags up 5 flights (and down at the end of our stay) so the stairs didn’t bother us. The room was bigger than I’d expected, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. Location was also excellent with easy walking access to everything and transit nearby. I would stay here again anytime. There was a bowl of apples in the lobby too, which made a great snack to grab on the way out the door.

We had an amazing stay at Chiado 44. The location was incredible and walking distance to everything but also a quiet side street. The staff were welcoming and kind. Be aware there is no lift. We were on the 4th floor which is actually 6 flights up. The room was small but typical for European hotels. The bathroom is large but a slanted roof making a bit tight on useable space but it was no issue for us. The room was simple but clean and had an amazing view of the city and the water. The front desk staff were helpful with recommendations. The breakfast was delicious!! I would definitely stay here again.

Towel hooks in bathroom dont work. There is a ladder for towels. They have ice but not always available. There are 103 steps to the rooms in the 4th floor. Doesn’t seem to be staff to help with luggage up to the room. Staff is friendly. Good location.

Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and charming room, walkable to all the important areas. Our room was on the fourth floor and the views were amazing. Highly recommend.

Staff was great, location was central, rooms were clean. No complaints!

The hotel is cute in the pictures but there is next to no privacy, very old building, narrow hallway could barely get into the room with our backpack and carry on suitcases. Then you can hear everything between the rooms, there is absolutely no privacy. We also had no heat in our room & it got very cold. The staff were not able to fix the issue. Then there was a power failure, which involved the entire street however there was minimal communication regarding the issue & no offer of any discount for the inconveniences - it was out more than 12 hours. Needless to say we didn’t stay a second night & we would not go back.

Great hotel! Staff was awesome and very hospitable. Room was comfortable. The hotel is close to public transport, restaurants, bakeries and is a great place to stay while in Lisbon!

No elevator, but central location. Enjoyed our stay.

Very charming. Location is great. Small boutique kind of place. The only thing is that we were on the top floor (5th) and no elevators. A young lady carried some of our luggage. She would have done it all but we wouldn’t let her. Very quaint place

The staff at Chiado 44 was outstanding. We especially liked Isabella. She was always ready with a smile and lots of suggestions for things in the area. The hotel is located walking distance to so much! The rooms were clean and very nice and I loved the little sitting area with doors that opened to the outside!

The room was clean, however there’s no elevator, it’s a walk up, the check in staff was very accommodating, helped us with the luggage. Also the noice from the bar in the corner was excessive, made it really difficult to sleep. I would like to give it a better rating but I’m unable to.

yes the room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful we arrived in the rain ..... would rather not have wooden branches to hang clothing and towels on ... much prefer regular towel rails. I had a room next to a staff room and the door was often open

Excellent location, very clean room, comfortable bed. Easy check-in and out. Very helpful and friendly staff, including a porter to help with the baggage.
