The check-in staff were rude, disinterested, surly. when asked why I was still waiting after the check in time the response I received was " you have to be patient, it's a big room". I arrived early , not only did they not use initiative and get the room prepared, they seemed to think making me wait beyond 3pm was perfectly ok. Not only did they make me wait but they were so unprofessional they didn't keep me informed _i had to ask. They are soooooo many hotel in the local area- there really is no good reason to go to this particular hotel. There were no opening windows in my room so they doused the room in a throat-numbing artificial spray. I waited to write this review so that I could give calm account. The reception staff were so bad it would have been comical if it wasn't so upsetting.

Stayed for 3 nights during the Andre Reau concerts and found the hotel to be ideally situated - not too close to the centre to be caught up in the hustle and bustle but well within walking distance so you're not trekking in and out each day. The hotel itself was very clean and spacious. The facilities were all simple to use and very nice to have (we made good use of the Bluetooth speaker and coffee machine in the room to ease us into the mornings!) and the staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was equally as nice with a good selection of items and all good quality. Would certainly recommend a stay here and we're already looking forward to paying another visit one Christmas to experience the city at a different time of the year.

I got a 2 levels room

The staff was great but the beds were futons, the lights in the room were not well situated so it was difficult to see when dressing but the towels were amazing and it is situated in an area that is great for seeing the town.

Wonderful staff, clean rooms.

Area felt safe and close to a big center market. Rooms were clean and service was excellent. There was a night where we could hear people on the street while we were trying to sleep.

Great location, well maintained historic building, amazing breakfast. The first floor rooms were slightly loud; easy to hear people talking outside on the street.

Lots of character and an interesting split level room.

The room was poorly illuminated and could have used a couple of chairs as well as a small table for writing etc. We experienced a significant amount of road noise and interior noise from adjoining room doors. The hotel was conveniently located to Maastricht center.

Fantastic property, conveniently located in the middle of everything. Staff is friendly and room (suit) was spacious and clean. Highly recommended.
