I love the old school vibe this hotel gives. It has a lot of character. Also the woman at the reception desk (i think her name was Greta) was SO helpful and gave so many good recommendations for food and activities. One thing i didnt like was there were no irons in the room. I had to either send my clothes for ironing service which i had to pay for or go downstairs and use the iron which wasnt practical for me. Otherwise, this was a beautiful hotel.

Beautiful art deco hotel

Simply beautiful property and truly welcoming and professional staff! Some hotels just get things ‘right’ and Hotel Laurin is certainly one of them. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

We loved our stay at Hotel Laurin. The property is far more impressive than the pictures let on. It’s a stunning building with beautiful and historic common areas. We really loved having breakfast on the patio overlooking the lake in the morning. The staff were very hospitable and helped us book a great boat rental. We were also treated to a free upgrade and loved our renovated room with the lake view.

Amazing staff nothing to much trouble.lovely room with balcony facing the lake,view is spectacular. Pool area clean and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful property! The combination of the old and preserve building together with the modern design of the room makes this hotel one of the most beautiful hotels I have been in. The location is also perfect! And the staff is awesome. Will defiantly return to this place.

What a stunning property. It was so charming and the breakfast was wonderful! The town of Salo was also beautiful. Lots to see and eat. All of the staff were king and helpful.

Wonderful hotel unique in its decor. Love the new rooms compared to the old traditional style which might not be to everyone’s taste. Great staff and beautiful breakfast.

Given a can of deodorant to cover room smell. The bathroom had a terrible smell. We asked to move rooms but were told that there were none available, which was clearly not the case as they have all the room keys on display (this was at midnight so more than likely everyone was in their rooms). We were also given a nice table over looking the lake for breakfast, but after going to the buffet, another guest sat at the table and the staff decided that we were the ones that should be moved. It felt as though we were being treated differently because we were 40 years younger than the rest of the guests. Hotel is beautiful inside & out, the breakfast is great and it's in a lovely spot, however unless you're 75 on a coach tour, you can likely find somewhere better... If you do stay in the area, go to Ristorante Pizzeria Papillon!

Great, traditional hotel near to the centre of Salò and the lake. Fantastic service from the staff throughout and a great breakfast

Amazing location with views of the lake while having an excellent breakfast. Service and cleanliness exceptional with 3 min walk to the centre of Salo. Front desk , Dinning room and room service can’t fault at all. Just great value. Will stay there from now on when going to lake Garda.

Hotel Laurin in Salò was truly stunning. A combination of beautifully preserved original features throughout the building, together with very tastefully decorated rooms, fitted with high quality bathrooms and furniture. The staff could not have be more attentive, yet still maintaining a perfectly relaxed atmosphere. Ten out of ten! I would also highly recommend an evening dining in the delicious Magnolia restaurant overlooking the lake. A fabulous hotel that really made our holiday to Italy that little bit more special.
