The apartment we had overlooked beautiful gardens with the Gower in the background - a different scene every day depending on weather conditions :)

We had a wonderful 5 nights on Lord Howe. Our first visit and definitely not our last. Our 1 bedroom unit looked out onto beautiful gardens. The unit was spotless and in a great position . We rode the bikes everywhere and loved that. If you choose not to ride it is a bit of a hike up-to Lagoon Beach .

This property was handy to shop, restaurant & the water. Plus not far from some walking tracks. We stayed in a studio unit which was spacious enough for two people. Gardens were very lovely. Amenities for laundry & transit were very suitable & clean.

I was very impressed with everything about this accommodation including the cleanliness. Leanda Lei is also good, close proximity to the general store (directly across the road) and is also walking/cycling distance to the cafe/museum, Bowls Club and even the Anchorage Cafe/- restaurant overlooking the lagoon. Judy, the very lovely & informative host, readily ferrys her guests to wherever they need to go including airport pick-up and drop offs. 👍Up!

Most enjoyable week. Accommodation perfect with very hospitable staff, centrally located and a handy shop just opposite. Communication when needed spot on. Certainly highly recommend and hope to return some time soon.

Great position, next to supermarket, although very expensive for groceries and alcohol. Cafe walking distance. Hired push bikes and rode most places. We stayed in self contained studio apartment # 9, a bit noisy as everyone congregated near the office next door. Preference would have been room further away , up the back, or 1 bedroom apartment. Transport provided to restaurant of choice every night and all restaurants provide transport home.

As food is astronomically expensive (eg tomatoes $15 .80 p/kg!!) take as much food as you can & go for self-catering, which was perfect at L. Lei. We even took a cask of wine. All with NO bio-security restrictions if flying domestic from Aus mainland.

The property is situated on Middle Beach Road about 15 minutes walk from the shopping area on Lord Howe Island in a quiet position yet an easy walk to Middle and Neds Beach.

Good cost-effective place to stay comfortably. Was very clean and tidy. The furnishings are a bit dated, but shouldn't matter if you need a place to just rest at night after roaming around all day. The kitchen was okay, could have some better utensils for cooking. Staff were very friendly and nice.

Great stay - happy helpful staff but not bossy, I.e not rules everywhere. Would have preferred 100% cotton sheets and softer pillows but bed itself v comfy. Handy bike hire on site so no hassle to pick up and drop at hire shop like some of even the smartest places. Brill free service dropping off at your place of choice for dinner each evening. Great location opposite the only big grocery shop on the island and a short bike ride to the ‘CBD’
