Quality of the room was awful Room was a musty smell Temperature of hot water in the sink bathroom tap was ridiculously hot and the cold tap was shut off..... TV reception so poor was unable to watch The room needs updating / modernising Room needs attention ....Not enough electrical points or USB.... Probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again .....better accomodation and requirements at other hotels for the price with no breakfast included... In actual fact i think the whole of the hotel and grounds needs attention Very Very Poor

I wouldn’t suggest this hotel at all.The cleanliness was so bad .I wish i could share the picture so everyone would know how bad it was.The chair had a dusty crust everywhere.

I didn't get a chance to talk to a member if staff when checking out as no one at reception but what bothered me was the TV set in my room. The reception was awful. It kept on going on and off saying no signal. My friend had the same problem in her room. Admittedly I didn't go and report to staff at time because it was late in the evening and also I didn't think they could do much about it. I tried everything myself to correct the problem.

As one of the only hotels in the area, choice was limited. We used for a one night stay to meet family. Condition not as expected, somewhat outdated and emptu of guests. Could not ope room windows and the spiders occupied the room more than guests as cobwebs were seen in many area, problems flushing toulet ans windows were certainly dirty

Very old and tired hotel. Room could do with a make over and a clean. TV remote was filthy, stale smell in room, soap dish fell off the wall then touched.

Staff where very friendly and helpful and i will stay there again

Clean but dated

Basic room, not so comfy bed and very dated but staff were really friendly, room was big and patio doors opened onto quiet green. Lot's of storage and a huge range of channels on the TV. Felt able to relax really well. Food in restaurant fine, again bar and dining room very dated but good choice on menu and big portions. Enjoyed the privacy and the challet type room. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean friendly very good value for money

Perfect for parkrun. Comfortable bed, clean and a great shower. Room was dated and had a trouser press! I enjoyed my stay and the breakfast.

Two nights stay for a family reunion. AJ is an excellent host and goes out of his way to please. The food is very good. The rooms desperately need a refurbishment and it would be fair to say that the beds have seen some action. The hotel is about 200 yards from the sea front.
