Beautiful location with the views of the lake, just 10 minutes from the Voss town center, relaxing.

Amazing area

The room was dirty. There was no hot water throughout. The room smelled terrible.

The lake view was amazing, the place is very simple with few amenities. You must travel by car as it's 10 minutes away from city center. You also have to take many stairs since there is no elevator to the rooms. Very quiet and peaceful.

When we got there we found that the property had been closed for a number of months. This was due to the property being renovated to take in Ukrainian refugees. Whilst I have no issues with the reason for the closure, we had not been advised that this was the case. We arrived around 5pm after a long day of travelling. The owner did his best to resolve our problem. In the end we were forced to find alternate accomodation which we did but far more expensive than we planned for. Why had we not been told months ago that the accomodation was no longer available?

In September there is no staff at the front desk and it took 5 calls for us to figure out where our apartment was located and how to check in. I wish they had sent me an email a few days in advance with detailed instruction and door codes. Old resort hotel, met our needs.

Excellent service! Extremely knowledgeable of Norway’s amazing history. The hotel is lined in artifacts from Norway and tell a story of what they came from. I appreciated all the little details and can tell it’s quite a charming place for friends and family! I highly recommend for anyone who loves Norwegian history.

The reason for staying was a nostalgic trip around the surrounding area, which went according to plan despite some wet weather.

The property is very unique all furnished with antiques and Norwegian memorabilia. The staff are wonderful and made our short stay extremely memorable.

We checked in late and were pleasantly surprised with the suite that was reserved for us. The room was clean, however it lacked basic toiletries. The view from the room was good. I would recommend this hotel to my fellow travelers.

Great view

Our stay here was wonderful. The staff upgraded our room when we arrived. The beds were soft and the room was clean. The place is at the edge of a lake, with mountains on three sides, so it is gorgeous. Apartments come with a deck to sit out on and enjoy the scenery. Only minor issue was that the Wi-Fi struggled a bit at times, but would reconnect soon after. Would definitely recommend if you're staying near Voss!

Great location. Great areas to gather for our large group of 17. The managers were very accommodating and gracious. The website did not do justice to how wonderful this place was- rooms were clean and beds comfortable, game room downstairs, lovely balcony with an unbelievable view!

Family run place right on the lake with private lake access. 10 minute drive to the main area of Voss on the other side of the lake. We got take out in Voss for dinner each night and brought it back to the sun-drenched picnic tables to have our own private picnic dinner. Super friendly service. The 2 bedroom apartment was way bigger in person than the pictures showed.

Our hosts came out to greet us on arrival. Very cordial and friendly. The room was bare bones but clean with a beautiful view. There were lots of common areas and a great kitchen to share stocked with some provisions, dishes, pots and pans. There was a terrace outside the room that was shared with neighboring rooms so leaving the door open to get some air was not ideal. There were two bathrooms on our floor. Luckily not many guests when we were there so sharing not a problem. Would have loved a night table with reading lamp and a dresser or someplace to put a suitcase on. I would recommend buying whatever food you'd like for breakfast and dinner before arriving as Voss was about a five mile drive with not much for restaurants.

Very, beautiful property. Wonderful panoramic view of the lake from the balcony. Far away from Voss town center though. Need to catch a bus sorry train which runs every 1-2 hours. No shops or restaurants near by. Take above location details into account. This place is fantastic to relax somewhere quiet and out of the way.
