Check in was easy, it was during the heatwave,so for anyone else leave Victoria Station and turn left and only a 4min walk from there!! Nice checkin, everything explained, I had items to collect from reception and the staff all went above and beyond to give them to me. There are two lifts to the left of reception which you need as alot of floors, and there is free coffee and croissants in the lobby for breakfast included, there is also a small shop at reception with essentials like milk and cereal and microwave meals-very handy!! I got room 231, the studios are fab with a beautiful bathroom with rainfall shower and shampoo, condition and hand soap all a lovely smell, the kitchen is a great addition with microwave, kettle, toaster, hobs and even a little dishwasher!! THe bed was big and so comfy and clean, the tv is bigger than mine at home with access to the usb and hdmi etc, excellent wifi, an ironing board and iron, a big safe easily fit my 14" laptop, comfy sofa, full length mirror, literally everything you could possibly need. The air con was on, on arrival which was much as it was over 32deg on the day, curtains were closed so it was lovely and cool temp mid afternoon. The only 2 negatives for me were that you can't turn off air con so very noisy at night, can't open windows & the room was miles away from the lift, with extra stairs so tough when you had luggage after shopping, which you will do in Arndale SC across the road!

Nice clean rooms. Excellent choice with kitchenette as staying night before Manchester Marathon so could do own cooking. Walk from reception to majority of rooms is lengthy with the requirement to open key card doors on route. Parking reasonably close. Tram Stop outside.

Location is fantastic, the check in process was a little slow with only one person on the desk but the rooms are great, just a little warm when the weather is hot!

Check in was a disaster. The room we booked wasn’t available. We were upgraded to a smaller room that had no bed for my daughter. Then offered the same tiny room with a camp bed in it for my teenager! Then we were showed another tiny room with a sofa bed which when pulled out ment we had to climb over sofa bed to get in our bed! We had booked a family studio and what we booked was not what we got. We were lied too by the receptionist. There was no management there we could speak too and baring in mind they had messed up they offered no suitable alternative and we ended up sat on the streets trying to find somewhere else to stay! This completely ruined our first night of a 2 night stay. I’ve emailed the hotel asking for an explanation but so far received nothing.

Check-in was super slow but room was great. Lovely old building but has been tastefully modernised. Little kitchenette was handy to have and would have been helpful for a longer stay.

All fine generally. TV in weird position at very foot of bed and, no doubt as a result, was broken, albeit not a big issue for me.

Great location close to shops and AO arena. In plenty of restaurants as well underneath the hotel. Room size was okay with large bathroom although when having a shower the water runs on to the bathroom floor as there is no door. Kitchen area was good and useful for having cereal in your room. The complementary coffee and croissant was okay shame they don't offer pan au chocolate. Check in was easy and the late check out for £10 good value. Sofa bed a little uncomfortable and okay for a couple of nights for my son who isn't too big. TV is a bit outdated and won't allow you to connect an iPad to stream your own content.

Property was excellent value for money. It was very clean and really comfortable and well equipped for self-catering. Ideally situated in the centre of the city.
