My son and I were traveling and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was close to many sites. The breakfast was great and had so many choices. We also celebrated my birthday with dinner here. The food was very good and our waiter was fabulous!!

Just love this place - comfortable, small, on sheep/cattle farm and so enjoyed their herding process. Bed comfy dinner and breakfast excellent Hot tub was delightful highly recommend oh, no tour groups !

Beautiful farm and very nice and clean facilities. A nice place to stay after looking at the Lake Mývatn sites all day.

The hotel management were kind enough to let us know about the possibility of an Aurora on the night of our stay and wow! We were lucky enough to witness this wonderful spectacle. The only drawback to this hotel is the 5km access road which is riddled with potholes.

We had a family room -it was spacious, but the decor was outdated. There were lots of flies - as it's located on a farm/open area- which meant we couldn't open windows and it got very stuffy. A fan in the room would have helped.

Great Icelandic experience! Staff was friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out were a breeze, the cottage was spacious and had all of the essentials, and the hot tubs were warm!

Quiet place to be left alone. Love the nature and the sheeps! Facilities is clean and well-equipped

Small, staff unfriendly. Cabin advertised with tv which was important to my brother for relaxing un the evening. It was broken, they were unapologetic. Restaurant advertised but its only made to order and you had to order ahead of time. Way off the beaten path.

No coffee for the coffee machine in the cottage. Everything else was great.

Guesthouse was roomy with 3 beds with a large bathroom - excellent accommodations.

Enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was particularly good. Staff helpful only issue was getting large bags up to third floor steep steps no assistance offered. Two older women were struggling more than us. Nice place , recommended

A little remote but great breakfast and dinner!

The cottage is in a farm, a bit off the main road and a little bit far from Myvatn tourist attractions. Though, Beautiful scene, nice restaurant and wonderful breakfast made it a nice stay.

It was nice to stay in a remote area, with sheep wandering around right outside our window! But having to remove our shoes every single time we entered the building was annoying and both the room and the restaurant were kept way too hot! Need a few more parking spaces.

Quaint and nice. It was a little far out but enjoyed being on a peaceful farm with beautiful views.
