It's a really beautiful hotel with amazing in-room workspaces and has easy access to stroll downtown when you need to unwind after a day of meetings. All the amenities are there, from Starbucks to solid BBQ, a full bar, and sundries to take upstairs in your room. The hostess was also super helpful and professional.

This hotel was great, however my room did not cleaned. All three trash cans were full and I went to front desk and was told they would get someone up to clean because my room was not on the list for cleaning. This was on Sunday and I had been there since Friday.

Very unique property, upscale feel and amenities.

I've stayed at several hotels over the last 30 years, in several different US states and other countries and this was by far, one of the worst stays I've had. The walls are paper thin. We could hear our neighbor unzipping their luggage as if they were in the room next to us. We could hear people walking up and down the halls, talking, coughing. It was like we were all in the same room. There's no air flow so you'll need to get a fan or it's super stuffy. No exhaust fan in the bathroom so depending on the temperature of your room and your shower, there could be quite the difference. The beds are soft so, not good if you have back issues. Essentially no lighting in the room, aside from some very dim track lighting and a few dimly lit lamps on either side of the room. I guess I could say it was clean. Looks nice from the outside but poorly constructed building.

The fridge was not clean. A lack of toilet paper in the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was very poor. There was a constant “air sound” heard when we were sleeping at night. Like wind going through a cave. And this was not coming from the vent. More from the door/hallway. We were excited to stay at this hotel because we were told how nice it was. Sad that it did not come out that way.

Everyone was awesome. Sunday chef was astounding at customer service. Pool was FREEZING. Otherwise, would highly recommend.

Easy parking

The property itself was very clean and easily accessible. Very nice facility. Did not appreciate staff knocking on my door on the day of departure, waking me, to ask what time I would be checking out. Especially considering that check out time was not until noon.

Our suite 220 was chilly, and you must request room service. However, very close to most places of interest, and great BBQ restaurant in the same bldg.

Loved this place and would pick it again in a heartbeat. Great environment. Unique. High ceilings. Huge rooms. Walking distance to a lot of places including Young Arena for hockey. Awesome BBQ at Starbecks. It was great!

It was fine there was a 3”x36”crack where bricks were missing that let outside air in. I didn’t hinder the stay but let the front desk know. I am sure they would have been losing heat.

Most definitely one of the upper echelons of hotel stays. My family and I stayed for a week and without any hesitation, would be our first choice.

Cold shallow pool. So disappointed!!!!!

We did a one night stay here as part of our drive back home from a week long trip. It was a good spot to stop, easy to park, check in and out was a breeze and we were in our room within 10 minutes. The 2 bedroom worked great for the family overnight. Additionally, the attached Smokehouse restaurant was super convenient, we were able to order and take to-go food up to the room to eat!

I have been staying at this hotel for the last 4 times I’ve visited Iowa and this time was by far the worst. The AC in my room was not working and when I notified the staff all I was told was “well do the best we can to fix it” it was never fixed and I was never offered a new room. I want to continue staying at this hotel because I have had no issues prior to this time but if I can’t get some kind of reimbursement for my money then I will no longer be staying. Thanks for the concern!

What a great place to stay. We loved the vibe the hotel gave. If we are ever back in the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area, we will FOR SURE stay at the Courtyard.
