This B&B is a fabulous find, very central in Dolgellau. Lovely staff, very helpful and welcoming. I had a very nice room, tastefully decorated, with a comfy bed and a good shower. The freshly cooked-to-order breakfast each day was superb, and housekeeping was very attentive. Dolgellau is a great base for exploring around this part of West Wales and Eryri, and Dolgellau itself is very pleasant to wander around in. Thank you Duncan and co, I will be back!

Everything perfect, only thing for me on the day would be a slightly earlier breakfast, maybe 7.30 to get up the mountain earlier but that’s personal preference. Thank you for keeping my sandwiches fresh in the fridge.

Lovely house with garden in beautiful little town

- Great stay, outstanding host/owner. Located in downtown area. - Parking is on public street, I was able to find a spot in front of hotel, but could see where this could be an issue in the busy summer months.

Perfect little overnight stay to go sightseeing

Bedroom and bathroom facilities were good and bedclothes and towels were top quality. It was within easy reach of pubs and restaurants with live music and friendly people. Dolgellau has a lot to offer for a couple who break their journey. We loved Ivy House and Margaret was most welcoming.
