I visited Monterrey for a conference at El Tec and stayed here for several nights. I don’t speak Spanish fluently, so navigating the area was a bit challenging at times. It’s definitely not a tourist zone — but the hotel staff were helpful. There was always at least one person at the front desk who spoke English, which made a big difference. The room itself was clean, modern, and fairly basic, but very comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and even on days when the smog outside was intense, the air inside the room always felt clean. There are lots of food options within walking distance, plus a small pharmacy right next door, which was convenient. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. They let me check in early, held my luggage without issue, and overall made the stay smooth. The only downside is that the nearby bars can get very loud at night, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. Overall, a solid stay if you're visiting the area for work or school and want something clean, comfortable, and well located near El Tec.

Great location! Ask for a room away from the noise coming from the shopping center where the hotel is located. I got a room on the 6th floor, facing the street and did not hear a thing. Be aware their rooms are small… but clean. It includes warm breakfast. It was great, scrambled eggs, picadillo, beans, chilaquiles, bread, fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juice, sweet bread, etc You pay a flat fee of $60 pesos per week for parking as of June 2023. Unlimited in & out. Not bad. The only reason I’m not giving it 4 stars is because the bed was located at an angle that doesn’t get any air from the air conditioning, the air was hitting the window, away from the bed. So it feels warm at times. Also the rooms are very small, no bedside lamp, no nightstand, only a small shelf on one side of the bed and only 1 lamp above the tiny desk (shelf) on the corner. In my opinion bad room design, the placement of the furniture inside the room is not adequate, definitely bad interior design. But if you are only staying 1 night, it should be not a big problem. The rooms are probably too small or will feel crowded for more than 2 people.

For what you pay, this is an awesome hotel. The rooms are just what you need, location is pretty nice and price is unbeatable. My only observation is that the TV does not have an accesible HDMI so that limits options (for example for a person who brings their own Chromecast to watch something nice while resting).
