Strategic location close to the city center, the view is good, but the motorbike parking is too far away, there are some that are close but open so if it rains, it will get rained on.

The pool water is dirty and the area around the pool is dirty and there are broken benches left on the rooftop…

The hotel is fairly clean and comfortable with beautiful city views. The staff is polite and offers a wide selection of options. Parking is inconvenient as it's shared with Star Apartments. It's close to the city center, next to Java Mall.

One sentence can describe this hotel: "The only thing you can enjoy is the rooftop pool." The staff is friendly, and there are better rooms in Semarang for a similar price. The facilities are lacking, and the elevator is scary, especially going up to the 30th floor. The elevator is often wet from swimming. The parking lot is messy.

I arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock....it took a long time to check in & there was no welcome drink, also the room in front or next to mine, I don't know where it came from, the point is it was really noisy because they brought small children... I stayed in the superior twin bed type & the parking area was very limited

New Year's holiday season 2026. The facilities should be improved. Holiday season. Only one elevator operates. Every time. It really disrupts our mobility. Time is wasted waiting for the elevator. Just entered the room. After a few minutes. There was a technician servicing the TV. .. back and forth.. making us uncomfortable. We should have gone to the hotel to rest. The technician repaired the old TV.

I was a bit hesitant to book this hotel at first because I read so many bad reviews. After visiting, I'll try to give a fair review. + Strategic location and close to the city center. Java Mall is a 5-minute walk away. + Friendly and responsive receptionist. + TV works well and is quite clear. + Mini fridge works well. + Complete amenities and a hairdryer attached, so no need to borrow one from reception. + Delicious food and drinks. + The views from the upper floors and rooftop are truly pleasing. - Upon entering the room, there was a musty odor. The toilet area smelled of urine. (Thankfully, I always bring air freshener, because this hotel isn't the only one that smells strange when you first enter.) Perhaps a spray of air disinfectant could neutralize the smell. - The furniture is worn, the walls have turned brown, there are lipstick stains on the walls, the floor lamp is crooked, and the cupboard no longer closes properly. -Because the hotel is exposed to very strong sunlight, it felt very hot during check-in. It's recommended to deposit an additional card to keep the AC running and the room temperature more comfortable. -The water in the shower wasn't hot. It was only lukewarm, or lukewarm. Female guests usually didn't feel the heat. -There was only one elevator in operation, so you had to be patient waiting for it. -The rooftop cafe, which is one level up (above the swimming pool), is unfortunately poorly maintained. The view of the city lights is beautiful from there. I was sitting there alone, when a man came up and asked me, "Aren't you afraid of being here all alone?" (Yes, it does feel worn out, and the furniture is very worn.) -As check-out time approached, around 11 a.m., the in-room phone rang. It was very faint. When I answered it, it disconnected. I plugged it back in, and hopefully it won't disconnect again.

Don’t be fooled by the name “Horison.” This hotel is far from what you’d expect. I booked 4 rooms with my family, and every single room had problems. The AC was hot, engineering came twice but didn’t fix anything. There was no hot water at all, which makes me wonder if this hotel even has a water heater. Bad wifi and mobile signal at the hotel also. Room service took 1.5 hours, arrived cold, and the stuffed tofu was spoiled. The TV didn’t work and was full of ants. Curtains were torn, the room smelled bad, the wardrobe door was broken, and only one elevator was working—and it was stuffy. Parking area was dark, dirty, smelly, and poorly maintained. Breakfast was tasteless, fried rice tasted weird, and the fruits were not fresh. Not recommended at all. Management should seriously reconsider operating this hotel if basic standards can’t be met. Very disappointing experience.

Not bad for this price. Breakfast has a lot of variety. But there are a lot of things in the room that need to be improved. Children have an additional 50 IDR charge at breakfast. The infinity pool is nice, it's on the 30th floor.
