I wanted to stay here because when I passed Merdeka Street, there used to be a sign, Serela.
It does feel like an old hotel, with perhaps new management (by Amaze Hotel). The service is fine. Parking is a bit cramped. The internet isn't great, and it's slow. Even my cell phone signal doesn't reach my room. It's difficult for business trips that require using a laptop in the room. The TV channels are limited and the signal keeps dropping out. So I just hung out in my room. Luckily, I was tired and my work was done, so I didn't sleep long.
The song "Amaze Hotel" in the hallway was disturbing, as the room wasn't soundproof. It kept ringing in my ears, and on repeat, I had to turn it off.
Breakfast was okay.
