Very good value durring off season.

Staff was very nice and rooms were clean, breakfast was good too , beach was very close , but parking was limited and restaurants or main center was at least 10 minutes far by car

We stayed here for 3 nights. It needs a complete upgrade or demolish!! You can barely see the sign of the hotel making it difficult to locate. Parking was an issue, we were charged for “free” parking in the car park immediately outside the hotel as the main one was full (?) The air conditioning system is so old, it has a plastic bottle outside to catch the water! If this fills up, the unit starts leaking and drips fast down the wall and onto the bedside cabinet. Not realising we had to empty the plastic bottle, this dripping went on all night. But couldn’t turn the air con off because it was so hot. They do an aperitif at around 6 or 7pm for guests which is nice. Breakfast was ok, not a huge choice but inclusive. It is 2 mins from the beach and you get complimentary use of the lido. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Pescara

Our recent stay at Hotel Excelsior was extremely disappointing due to an ant infestation. On our first night, my child noticed a few ants on the floor, which we initially dismissed. However, the situation escalated on our second night when we returned to find numerous ants scurrying on the floor and even on our beds.We immediately informed the receptionist, who contacted the manager, but he was unavailable. With no other rooms available, the staff's solution was to clean the sheets, which did not address the underlying problem. The presence of ants in our beds made it impossible for us to stay, and my children were particularly disturbed by the situation. We had to find other accommodations late at night and were told to return the next morning to discuss a possible refund. The following day, the manager, Mattis, was unprepared to issue a refund but offered another room for our last night. By then, we had already paid for alternative lodging, making a return to the hotel inconvenient. Mattis advised us to request a refund through Expedia. However, when we did so, the hotel denied our request for a refund.Overall, the hotel was a disappointment. The fact that they were unable to resolve the issue or provide a refund is truly unacceptable in a service business. Cleanliness and effective management are crucial for ensuring guest satisfaction. I hope future guests have a better experience.

Staff very nice from Breakfast to cleaner to reception. The facilities are outdated and lift very slow but it is very convenient as 100 mt from the beach

Bed was very uncomfortable-bathroom had no toilet seat-you could hear everything around you.

Great location. Aircon worked great. Loved that we got a free chair and umbrella at the beach provided by the hotel.

A nice place for the price

Great location. Nice staff. A dated building but they keep it nice and clean. Feee parking and breakfast. Good value. And you can walk to the sea in 2 minutes or less.

Muy bien ubicado

Excellent location, great price too for what you get. Only Free parking we had in a 2 week trip around Italy! Nothing special, is also a residence so there are renters too. View from our balcony was of the sea and mountains! Small patio to sit outside too. For food go to Pizza place Calvi 2 blocks. It’s excellent and staff is phenomenal!

24 hour noise from refugees, kids using reception and bar area as a playground. We need a holiday after our return

The property’s location was awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful. We also liked the fact that the hotel was housing Ukrainian refugees. The only problem with that was we were on the same floor and they have kids& dogs and it was very noisy.

If you want to sleep with the broken air con during the summer please book this hotel. In the breakfast room you may have a feeling of fighting for your breakfast with the …. who have no limitation on grabbing the food into their takeaway lunch boxes. If someone say this the government immigrants camp, i will believe him.
