Although the hotel is within walking distance of the Elde River and the city center, it is located directly between two main roads. Since the room was uncomfortably warm, we had to open the windows. This meant we were exposed to the traffic.
The "apartment" for €150 per night was a larger double room, and the price made no sense to us at all. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The bathroom was dated, and the shower cubicle didn't close completely. The TV was simply too small for the room size.
The breakfast buffet was okay, but it didn't justify the overnight price. It's a shame they don't use local suppliers: pre-baked rolls and sausage/cheese from packages instead of regional products.
It was okay for a weekend, but I imagine a vacation to be different.
