Lovely hotel. Lobby and dining areas are lovely and the room had so much character. We'd definitely stay again.

Directions great to the car park. We visited a evening that no food was available so cannot give a full review. Every thing else was lovely. Will stay again.

I booked a dog friendly room with air conditioning to be told dog friendly rooms don’t have aircon, was then charged and extra £20 for the room and another £10 for parking, I wasn’t aware of any extra charges I feel very ripped off, my dog is cleaner than most humans so I take offence of that to then be charged to use there own car park is also a rip off, The place looked in maintained and tired, there were cobwebs in the restaurant and the floor had muck all over it, the general cleaning is poor so for me to have to pay an extra £20 for my god seems even worse. When I went to check out I was told my card payment for £30 had been declined, I had to argue that it had gone through and then I showed the payment being taken on my bank statement. Really unhappy with the whole experience

Sabina and staff are awesome. The hotel is in a very old, distinguished building. Much of the furniture in the common areas is old. It's worn. It's beautiful. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are very nice. The bathrooms are large and luxurious for an old stately hotel like this. The location is absolutely the best. It's a 2-minute walk to a very charming town. Beautiful old churches and buildings that sit next to some modern buildings and a very nice mall. 5 Stars all the way

Really enjoyed our stay at St Giles. Room was lovely and spotless, The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and large and well equipped with a nice shower. Breakfast was great, I shall definitely stay here again if I'm back in Norwich.

Nice central Norwich hotel. There aren't many. On site parking at rear of hotel. Very walkable into centre of Norwich. No dining Sunday or Monday but breakfast on Monday morning lovely. Especially the continental buffet. Spa on site for those that wish. Outside bedroom corridor 1-4 there is a long balcony for seating, evening sun and drinks. Bar serves a nice Malbec!

Lovely hotel. Staff genuinely friendly and helpful, paticularly the receptionist. We would have liked a Fridge and a Safe but these aspects did not detract much from our satisfaction. Five minute walk to the town centre, Would be our hotel of choice in Norwich.

Air conditioning was very welcome on the hottest day of the year. The hotel itself is very tired. We also booked a room with a balcony but that’s not what we got. In all it was fine but we felt it wasn’t really worth the money. Breakfast was nice but again a little disappointing.

I stayed on the eve of the Norfolk show when every hotel in Norwich is booked solid. St Giles had a very expensive room left and I was forced to take it as I was in Norwich for work. The hotel is housed in a lovely building with an impossible to find, “on-site” car park (which they charge an extra £10 for!!) The breakfast was exceptional and the room was spacious but pretty basic. Overall the room was way overpriced for what it was. This might have been a price hike due to high demand? It’s one of those places that feels like it’s run for the dividends of the company that owns it rather than for the experience of the guest. If it’s the only place to stay in Norwich I wouldn’t mind going back but if there are lots of equally good hotels for half the price in Norwich - I’d go there instead.

Definitely a hotel worth visiting, breakfast was great with lots of choice, didn’t dine in the evening as only there 2 nights. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful, quality toiletries and the fan was very useful. Car parking £10 each night, good for city centre easily to walk into.
