Very nice pub/restaurant hotel, friendly staff, good food. Well equipped room, comfy bed and quiet area. It was great value for money, would absolutely stay again.

Absolutely unreal. The staff, every single one of them are fantastic. Here for a wedding locally and we greeted were warmly by all the staff here. The room is very large, very clean and well ventilated. The small touches in the room were very welcome, good towels, comfortable large bed and great coffee tray. We went for lunch in the restaurant and it was out of this world, the duo of lamb being the absolute favourite. It was so tender, the ragu tartlet was rich and delicious with the pastry case crispy and melt in the mouth. Staff here are very attentive, ready for any request and are super friendly. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Enjoyable stay, lovely clean room and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Lovely brick building from 1902 retaining all its old charm. Now a modern pub/hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had food that evening which was very good. Wine and beer prices were quite step but that's par for the course nowadays!!! The bedroom was well appointed etc. All in all, a great stay there.

I booked this for our staff who were away training. They fed back to me that they really enjoyed staying at the Hopping Hare. The hospitality was amazing and the food was really delicious. It’s definitely somewhere to return to. Thank you for looking after them so well.

Quiet location with onsite free parking. Room clean and well laid out. Shower cubicle tiny but has good bathroom amenities. Food good with good service. All in all not a bad place to stay and/or dine.
