We had an amazing stay from the moment we arrived! We had booked Hotel Augusta as our base as we were running the Lake Garda marathon, which finished at Malcesine. We had a hire car and were able to park up no problem with ample and secure spaces. When checking in, we were given a warm welcome and given full instructions on things like breakfast and accessing the leisure facilities. Onto our room and we had one of the most spectacular balcony views I've ever seen, overlooking the town, the castle, the lake and the cliffs beyond. Everything was incredibly clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The nicest touch was that after explaining that we wouldn't make breakfast on the Sunday as we had to be away early for the marathon, one of the team knocked on our door the evening before with a lovely breakfast spread for the morning to ensure we were well fuelled. It was lovely and completely unexpected, but really appreciated. The indoor and outdoor pools with hot tub were heavenly after the marathon. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone, but especially if you're doing the marathon! Thanks again for an amazing stay.

Amazing breakfast!

The view from our room was lovely. The bed was hard as rock. Fortunately, we did not need air conditioning. The instruction book mentioned air conditioning available, but we never found it in our room. I can see where in the summer it would be very helpful. The on-site bar was nice. Unfortunately, as nice as the bartender was, he would just grab handfuls of ice as needed instead of using a scoop or washing his hands first.

Perfect location to explore the town and easy access to the Ferry. Rooms were spacious and the balcony was an added bonus! Pool looked nice but we never got a chance to spend any time there - a short visit with lots to see in town and on the Lake.

The family who run the hotel are brilliant, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble including helping with onward travel. I found the aircon “policy” a little odd, it’s only available for three months (July - Sept) and only for a set timing window each day. The rooms are clean and functional.

Trevlig fin utsikt mot Gara sjön rena revliga rum stor toilet. Bra frulle / trevlig personal specially Roberto som var hjälpsam på många sätt. Tack vi kom​mer tillbaks.

Lovely hotel, great location, nice pool, friendly staff. Beds hard as granite, doors to rooms way to noisy opening and closing. Had to be slammed closed.

Zimmer modern und sauber mit schönem Balkon. Allerdings ist das Hotel etwas hellhörig, hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört. WLAN eher schlecht im Zimmer, wir haben deshalb nur mobile Daten genutzt. Das Personal war freundlich und an der Rezeption wurde deutsch gesprochen. Das Frühstück war von der Qualität und Auswahl sehr gut für italienische Verhätnisse. Sehr schöner ruhiger Garten mit großem Ausenpool. Der Innenpool war kleiner und abgenehm warm. Gut fanden wir den Whirlpool neben dem Innenpool. Innenpool und Whirlpool sind nur ab 18 Jahren zu benutzen. Die Sauna war jetzt an Ostern ab 17 uhr geöffnet, wir haben diese aber nicht genutzt. Parkplätze waren auf dem eingezäunten Hotelgelände vorhanden, allerdings war die ein und Ausfahrt nur zwischen 7 und 22 Uhr möglich. War für uns jein Problem. Die Lage ist super, in 5 Minuten zu Fuß in der Fußgängerzone von Malcesine. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt uns kommen bestimmt wieder.

Der Gardasee Ende August, ist einfach nur überlaufen und bietet keine Erholung.

Sehr empfehlenswere Unterkunft

Ett boende som hade allt vi kunde önska oss. Inomhuspool och bubbelpool som vi njöt av när vi kom. Gratis parkering där vi även fick stå kvar efter utcheckning när vi passade på att åka upp med linbanan som låg mittemot hotellet. Fin liten by med mysiga gränder och trevliga restauranger. Mycket god frukost, bra rum och trevlig personal. Rekommenderas varmt!

Vi hadde superior rom med balkong og nydelig utsikt til sjøen, Borgen og kabelbanen. Det var helt topp! Stort rom og ok senger. Fint bassengområde og god frokost. Rett ved kabelbanen og ca 150 m å gå til gamlebyen. Manglet kanskje litt sjarm, men ellers tipp-topp hotell.

Ein ganz tolles und sauberes Hotel mitten in Malcesine. Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar und der Ausblick auf die Burg und den See ist fantastisch. Super freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, frisches Obst, Eier, Speck, Parmaschinken, Lachs und selbst gebackene Kuchen. Eine einzige Sache ist schade der Kaffee schmeckt leider überhaupt nicht :-(. Wir werden auf jedenfall wiederkommen:-). Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt.

Fint hotel, vi havde nogle myre på værelset, men hotellet forsøgte at gøre en indsats for at få dem væk. God beliggenhed ind til byen. Dog presset ift. parkering.
