This hotel was booked for my mother. From the start, I only had a non-smoking room available on Traveloka. When I checked in, the staff said, "There's only one smoking room left." I protested, even though I'd booked seven days in advance. "We prioritize guests who book directly through us. We don't prioritize those who book online," the hotel staff said. If I were the one staying in the room, it wouldn't have been a problem, but in the case of my mother, the smell of cigarettes was clearly a problem.
In the end, I called Traveloka because my protests were futile. The hotel didn't offer a solution. Finally, Traveloka resolved it, with the solution being to stay in a smoking room the first night and move to a non-smoking room the next day. I was quite disappointed with the hotel; I had to call Traveloka first to find a solution.
The neatness and cleanliness of the smoking and non-smoking rooms were very different. The smoking rooms were poorly maintained, while the non-smoking rooms were well maintained.
