I only just found the energy to write a review after my 5-day, 4-night stay. A bad choice, I took the Grand Executive room number 2605.
Let's start with:
1. Check-in
I checked in at 9:30 PM WIB. The process wasn't long, nor was it quick. The only problem was, the reception staff didn't mention that parking tickets always have to be re-registered upon departure. Even though I knew I was staying for quite a while, they didn't initially offer the option to register with eFlazz/eMoney. Sahid Hotel should improve the parking ticket issue by making it automatic. Once registered, you can enter and exit without the hassle of having to go to the lobby to re-register. (By the way, I was given the option to register my eFlazz card the night before check-out by a different receptionist.) Very annoying.
2. Bathroom
The shower seat was already removed before use; it was simply attached (it appears there was no room inspection). The shower hose was also loose, so it had to be tightened before use. Even then, the hose must be placed in its holder, or it will still leak.
3. Electrical Outlets
There are 6 electrical outlets, but only 3 are usable. Two can be used to charge your phone, and the other one can't because it's behind the cupboard (the charger head won't fit, it's stuck with the cupboard).
4. Food
During my stay, the menu was the same. I only changed two of the menus, and the rest were the same.
5. Checkout
If you find out a guest has provided the wrong room number, please respond immediately via WhatsApp. Don't keep me waiting, or call me repeatedly before I get a response. Even then, the response was long-winded. After I got a little angry, I was told the room number was unavailable. Because I didn't show up to the room, I ended up dragging two suitcases, three bags, and my child to the elevator. It turned out that only one elevator was accessible. My husband got angry and went to the lobby to ask the staff to bring his luggage, but his reaction was confused. When I asked the staff who was carrying the luggage, he didn't know because he didn't have the information. So whose job is it to reply to WhatsApp messages? The lobby?
