I loved it here. For context, I was EXTREMELY stressed after missing my connection to Romania at the Budapest-Nyugati station in the evening, and made a very last minute booking here. The staff here were very friendly, the room was beautiful and very clean, and the vibes felt very modern and chilled out. There is a bar downstairs, but it didn't feel like one that people get drunk in and are loud, it felt more like a place I could sit down and chill out in (and in fact I'm considering it while continuing my Budapest stay around the corner). The ONLY negative is they didn't have any more rooms available at the same price as I would have stayed for longer!! But overall, this is a great place to stay, especially if you're feeling a bit lost or unsafe in a new town.

We got a room that had 2 single beds pushed together (which we have had over the years) but this one had 2 single duvet covers instead of one large one so it was very awkward to use as a bed pushed together. Also, no face cloths. Beautiful location and modern hotel though

In a great location, a bit noisy (on a Friday night, some club pumping out music through the night), but right next to a tram stop and many museums and Parliament buildings a comfortable walk. Staff very helpful with air conditioning, (windows closed, keep it on, made all the difference). Nice breakfast, if a bit of a scrum and needing a bit more space for the number of guests. Thank you, it's a great city and we had a really good time.

The hotel is fine, no issues with it at all. We were supposed to receive a 20% discount on drinks at the, but when in Budapest, why stay in the hotel? There are lots of places to go sit down and enjoy the city and have a beer. Plus, any hotel charges more for drinks so a discou t of 20% isn't going to make it worth while.

This hotel located at city center, very close to parliament building , and all other attractions. We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is very clean, bed is comfortable, the room is specious. I love the extremely high ceiling. Highly recommended!!!

We were in Budapest for the F1 and this was the perfect hotel for us. The happily organised taxis for the airport and to the F1 as well. The breakfast had everything you could want.

Really nice breakfast buffet with a mix of cooked and fresh items, lots of healthy options. Comfy rooms that were well air conditioned - much needed in the 36 degree heat! Very clean and tidy, great location. Well located near both trains and trams, and walking distance from central locations. I would stay here again if I visit the city in the future.

Located in quite area and yet 15 minutes walk to Parliament and the Danube. Hop on hop off bus next door ,asked about traditional restaurant and was offered quick options.

Hotel was in the perfect spot. Transit was accessible right outside the door to the hotel. Everything I wanted to do was within 25 minutes walking distance or a quick transit ride. The room was small, but I wasn’t in it often, but it was very clean and tended to Every morning. The breakfast was really nice, but I would suggest grabbing a cappuccino or coffee elsewhere as the coffee machine wasn’t great. They let me check in an hour early as my room was ready, which was a relief since I had been travelling from Vienna. One small complaint was that the Tram outside the hotel was quite loud so every time it came to the stop I could hear it. Perhaps opting to get a room on the other side of the building.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel T62 in Budapest! The location is absolutely perfect—right next to a metro station with numerous bus and tram connections just steps away. It’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city. There are plenty of dining options nearby, along with small supermarkets like SPAR and Lidl, and even a McDonald’s right across the street. The staff were exceptional—friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. Although the official check-in time is 3 PM, we truly appreciated that they allowed us to check in early at 12 PM, which made a big difference after our journey. A lovely touch is the water fountain at the entrance, a thoughtful gesture towards sustainability and guest comfort. Our room faced the main road, but thanks to the double windows, it was surprisingly quiet—we barely heard any street noise. The neighbourhood felt safe and welcoming, even in the evenings. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. We also loved the modern art decor throughout the lobby and hotel, which added a vibrant and stylish atmosphere. When it was time to check out, we were able to store our luggage in the secure locker room on the -1 level, which was very convenient and gave us peace of mind. Overall, a great experience—highly recommended for anyone visiting Budapest!

This was my husband and I’s first time in Hungary and Budapest is amazing! T62 was a big reason why our stay was so nice. Beautiful, clean room, huge bathroom, super close to great attractions and a train station, great morning breakfast (totally worth getting), and nice hotel staff! Our stay here was nothing but lovely! The hotel is next to the train/metro station, so it can be a bit noisy, but that didn’t bother us whatsoever! It also felt extremely safe to walk around at night. We hope to come back to Budapest someday, and if we do, we will definitely stay here again! Köszönöm szépen T62!

We had a lovely stay here.

Location was great, a 20-25 min walk to the Danube River and all the attractions. Parking was a bit tricky. Mentions onsite parking which is not exactly the case. You'd need to park a little while away which could be a pain if you have a lot of luggage. On the weekend, street parking is free. In either case, down the parking app (you can see the QR code for it on the pay stands), it'll make your life easier. For the hotel itself, very cute with a hip decor. Room was nice and quiet. 2 little quirks, a kettle for tea/coffee would have been great... and taking a shower, well you pretty much get water everything... In the end, would have no issue staying here again and would recommend to others.

Reception staff very helpful. Room good size but required google maps to find the room. Breakfast basic.
