Room was quite small with the bed virtually on the ground. Pillows were not good. Bathroon was the size of the rest of the room and nicely recently rennovated so we liked that part. Got there at just after 9pm on a Saturday night and the restaurant and bar were closed. Went upstairs to the room to watch the rest of the hockey game and no TV in the room. Breakfast was not even continental. For what we paid, not sure we shouldnt have stayed right in Halifax.

Clean room with a convenient location. A beautiful view of the water. We had only planned a one night stay in preparation for an early flight the next morning, but we are wishing we had booked some additional time to enjoy the surroundings and the lively restaurant attached. Lovely spot with a water view. Rooms are clean and the bed is cozy and warm. ( we visited in the spring) Easy check in with key pad for main door and the room. Phone number available if there are any problems. Lovely common living room with coffee and tea. Continental breakfast left for guest in their room. Restaurant is just steps away outside and down the stairs. Delicious food and great vibe

Everything was as expected

We only stayed one night. Entry instructions were very clear and we had no issues even with a very late arrival. The property is clean, quiet and generally well kept. The take-away breakfast was a great add-on as we also left early. Would recommend!

Clean room, lots of towels.

Very clean. Amenities were excellent. But guests on the floor above us were awake and making noise into the early morning. It was very difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep. They also came down to the common area and made noise in the common area during sleeping hours.

Parking was up on a hill and very limited on the weekend. Minimumall furniture in the room shower was nice. No communication withe owner when I phoned to ask where to park when the restaurant took all the parking spots. Switched our room from a view of the river to partial view. Breakfast was chocolate chip muffin and an apple. Yogurt had choices the first night then only vanilla the second morning. Not good value for your money. Pretty well slept on the floor think it was an ikea bed very low abd no place to sit in the room.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, and the view was absolutely beautiful,definitely one of the highlights of our visit. The only downside was the noise. Since the property is located beside the road, you can hear passing vehicles quite clearly. We could also hear conversations from guests in the neighboring room, which made it a bit difficult for my children to fall asleep right away. Aside from the noise concerns, everything else was enjoyable.

Excellent stay beautiful space. Could use more linens and better linens for the pull out sofa. No interaction with staff was completely contactless but very easy to check in and out with door pass codes provided via email. Gorgeous views of the lake. If you're a light sleeper you can hear traffic quite a bit but this didn't bother us. Truly a lovely stay with lots of space for kids in the Thomas suite upstairs. Great snacks, juice and water provided with stay.

It was overall great. The location about 20 mins away from Halifax downtown. I’d definitely stay here again. The rooms especially were very cozy and well maintained.

The instructions for check in were accurate and easy to follow, however, in the instructions it said I could ask for a later check out and when I did, I did not get a response. The place was clean and comfortable. Lovely view of the lake. I was sad that the restaurant wasn't open while I was there. The breakfast was a delicious muffin with a granola bar, an apple and a rice crispy square. It was fine for me.

Very disappointed . Would never recommend for seniors . Bed was the worst . Very soft mattress and no box springs. Felt as I was lying on the floor . No chairs in the room and no TV . Not even in the common area .Price was 147.00 . Would not return again . You don’t even get to speak to somebody . They emailed you a code for the main door and another for your room . 😢 Wish I had taken a photo

Property was cute. We stayed here on our last night in Halifax so we could be close to the airport for an early flight. Bring your earplugs if you want to go to bed early, because you will likely hear noise from the bar below and the other guests talking in the common area. No issues otherwise.

Clean room, the view is lovely, excellent location, great customer service, easy to check in and check out.

The room was modern and clean with a great view of Miller Lake. Unfortunately I did the self check-in, in the dark with rain pouring down and couldn't locate the property for 20 minutes. Lighting on the signage or street number is recommended. A bit of a game-changer that sticks with me is that they don't use a top sheet. I get that people do this at home, but not for guest-use....eew!

The room was clean, staff was helpful. There were a few restaurants down the street. I didn't appreciate the $200+ CAN hold on my card for room damage. In comparison, the motel in Connecticut charged $50 US.
