Very friendly staff but other than that there is nothing good to talk about the hotel. Very old rooms, decoration, doors. Dirty carpet in the room, no carpet for the bathroom, no shampoo, broken shower, old toilet with signs of a lot of use over the years. Beds OK-ish but I used my own pillow just to stay on the safe side. No breakfast is offered nor any other meals. Very cheap but I would rather pay +30€/night for a somewhat better room. Other guests were very loud, even during 2-3AM and there no real soundproof. I really wish they would invest some money to make it worth to come back. Right now the hotel is like it is left to slowly decay, which is rather a shame.

During our stay in this city, my wife and I were enchanted by this centrally located hotel. Amazing alternative place. Beautifully zero waste decorated old hotel not with the usual stressful way to do everything to please the client, but the client feels so welcomed and a meaning towards the environment and the people who take care of the place, that he (the client) wants to offer to the place! It's a common volunteer work that inspires! A good example of how things could be done

Although location and owners attitude was ok, this place is not a 2 star … I would rate it below zero or should be closed by the health department . Bathroom , rusty faucets, door to, broken wouldn’t close, shower situation … disgusting . Put a faucet anywhere in the bathroom wall and pretend it’s a shower. Building inspector approved and all? Please don’t misunderstand, I wasn’t expecting luxury for €35 but only the basics . The excuse by management that this is a hotel in the “ horio” is an insult to the beautiful villages ( Horia) surrounding this area. To management,Get you act together and provide basic services, otherwise close the dam thing , stop pretending you have a hotel and expect people to understand why this place is below third world …

Good hotel for the price you pay. Staff is friendly and very international. Room are clean and cozy with awesome decor. The only issue is small bathroom, but it's easy to get used to it. It has great reception and lobby with place to chill out. Also the location is great :) Recommend.
