We recently stayed at Gray Manor Hotel, and while the reception team was friendly and welcoming, the property itself is significantly run down and poorly maintained. The grounds are highly neglected, cluttered with dilapidated sheds, and covered in rubbish. Inside the room, the lifted laminate flooring was a genuine safety hazard. Furthermore, the room was incredibly hot with only a loud mini fan provided, and a constant, heavy mechanical noise from a pump ran all night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The Wi-Fi was also highly unreliable, and the TV would not connect to any network. While the staff is doing their best, the hotel requires urgent attention regarding basic maintenance, safety, and hygiene. We ultimately had to check out early due to these conditions.

Wevhad a one night stop over to visit relatives. Found the hotel clean, tidy and relaxing. Parking was very good, rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good for the overall price. We will book again

I always like to start with the positive and that was the staff being very helpful and the bed being very comfortable. Sadly the room was in a sad condition. Needs some tlc. Torn wallpaper, hole in wall, hole in door, dusty lights, no mattress protector, duvet torn, duvet cover non closing so duvet came out, dirty tea spoon, stained carpet and absolutely no basics like a glass for water, hairdryer, shower gel or tissues. The chairs were small and uncomfortable if you wanted to watch TV. In general it's not a fair price for a decent room as the standard is so low.

Clean room, staff very helpful, foods and beer was good.

I had to shorten my stay due to a change of plan, but happy with the hotel and service from the staff, hopefully my stay next time will be longer 😀

Room could have been cleaner had glass over dresser but eas dirty below the glass . Breakfast came out in dribs and drabs water for the tea/coffee was warm and not hot

Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money.

We stayed at Gray Manor Hotel as a base for visiting Stonehenge and Salisbury, and it was in a great location for both. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, and the staff were lovely — very chatty, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although a little dated and in need of some TLC in places. That said, the continental breakfast was one of the best I’ve had, with a great selection and everything fresh and well presented. One of the standout features was how pet friendly the hotel is, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing stay in an ideal location for exploring the area.

Lovely stay away for work

We booked this hotel for its location and price, on arrival the staff were so friendly and welcoming, we extended our stay by 1 night, set in a lovely location. The night before we checked out we had already booked up to stay again for longer, this has now become our new hotel to stay in every time we come down to see family and friend. Excellent place 5 out of 5 all round. 👍👍

This was lovely in many ways. My room was spotless and spacious, Breakfast was hot and plentiful with a reasonable choice. The new season has maybe not kicked in as some of the outside areas could do with a little tidy up. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it is worth noting that there are few public transport links to the local towns and seemingly none before 9.30 am or after about 7 pm.,

Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Staff are fabulous at this hotel and I keep coming back. Disappointing at the change in dinner menu. If you don't like Indian food you'll need to eat out

Breakfast was very good. Rooms were worn with loose vinyl planks for flooring. Noisy pipes in one room. Considerably more wornout than the photos showed

The location of the hotel was good for our purpose. Rooms were spacious.

Such a pleasure staying here for the night while i was visiting my son. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended

the Gray Manor Hotel and Wedding Venue: We got our room and after going into the room finding out the cleaners had not been in there. All the bed sheets and pillows were stained and there was hair all over the place. I went back to the reception to complain, and a man came out in his bathrobe with no shoes on and his chest hanging out; he had clearly just gotten out of bed. He eventually gave me another room, but this one was just as bad, with lipstick stains all over the headboard and a filthy bathroom. The rest of the night was an absolute disaster. There was a huge vibration noise coming from the taps and a constant beeping noise coming from the hallway that made it impossible to sleep. This place was a total nightmare and definitely not what you would expect from a hotel and wedding venue. I would not recommend staying here.

Lovely Hotel. The team were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a good selection and very good coffee. I will stay here again
