Staff are very welcoming.

We feel like there should be at least a partial refund. The plumbing was not working so we didn't get the breakfast buffet. They did provide a pastries,granola bar,yogurt and juice, and a couple free drinks from the bar. We were counting on the buffett sustaining us through a long day of travel and were very disappointed. The staff was friendly and did their best I suppose,however,it is hard to understand how building maintenance issues are not planned for.

All great given cost/value. It's more of a small wedding venue really but suited my quick overnight. Friendly staff and really good breakfast cooked very nicely. Very happy. You even get greeted by friendly wolves on arrival - lovely huge dogs😍. Made my day! Don't hold the door for them though as they will only use the dog flap😂

clean rooms

Room was neglected. There were two massive husky’s waiting for you at reception so if you’re not a dog person not great. The lights didn’t work in the room. Only one of out 4 did. No bedside lights or plug sockets. Room needed a good clean and was so hot we slept with a fan on the entire night in October. Shower was tiny.

We were only staying one night while we were working in the area. The room was large, comfortable and clean. There is a bar which is OK (there are nice pubs a short drive away as well) and the breakfast was a standard hotel buffet but of good quality. There are some very large but very dopey and friendly dogs.

We arrived at 7.45 pm due to traffic hold ups. The receptionist asked if we needed food and directed us to the bar where we were able to order. We took our drink back to our room and on ordering our scampi and chips we were offered room delivery. Our food arrived with minimum delay and was very tasty. There is easy parking and we noticed several EV chargers. Comfy bed - tea making facilities and a mini fridge. Variety of buffet breakfast choices but we were unable to make tea as the urn had been unplugged. Friendly helpful staff

Staff were great and very friendly, breakfast was really good and had a good variety and the property was nice. There are 2 big beautiful friendly dogs that rome the hotel, which was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint is, the carpets in the bedrooms are very dirty with unpleasant stains all over them. The hotel should consider taking the carpets out and just have hard floors instead. Otherwise a really pleasant stay.

One of the worst hotel I have been in the UK. The food is horrible, the bathroom is shocking, do not order the curry unless you want something out of a jar. Avoid at all costs

Kettle base full of scale so didnt use it. Shower head leaked more water than sprayed. Food, starter burnt and pizza was swimming in oil. No offer to deduct burnt food from bill.

The sitting was lovely. Rooms were comfortable and quiet but were tired and shabby looking. No water for over an hour was very unpleasant as couldn’t use the basic facilities. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was great.

I have never stayed in a hotel with friendlier staff. Exceptional service.

I booked this hotel as I visited the area. It is easily accessible from main roads, yet you won't hear the noises of the vehicles. The manager was kindly changed my room due to my knee and back pain. The room was clean and the staff did everything way and beyond to accommodate my needs. I have gluten and dairy intollerance, so I was provided with alternative food options to. If you are a dog lover, you are in heaven, however if you are not, just be aware that two absolutely gorgeous dogs are welcoming you. Obviously they are shedding, which makes the place a bit messy. Overall, the place is nice, but the staff makes is even lovelier.
