I had a room with a stunning mountain view. If only there weren't any pillars in the room, it would have been much nicer.

I am sorry to say that my expectation was a bit high from the reality. We had to wait quite a while to be able to go to Dieng and planned to stay at Dafam hotel. The hotel location is in the city, walking distance to some convenience stores and easy to find local food. It is cold enough as per my expectation even in the daylight, with a beautiful surrounding completed with a small river panoramic view when we had breakfast. However, there are some improvements needed to maintain the pride of the hotel level (4 stars? considering the price level): 1. The receptionist (a man) was missing when we arrived for booking, so I had to wait even for a short time, until his co-worker finished assisting another customer. 2. The toilet is really smelly (room 517), it smelled like somebody had thrown their meal into the toilet and the hotel staff missed to remove it. I ordered 2 rooms, both of them were smelly. The other one, the bedroom was smelly. We didn't complain at the time as we could see the hotel was full, so we didn't think we would get another room, however, this makes us think twice to stay in this hotel again. 3. The window cannot be opened, however, there is about a 1-2 cm open gap from the window to its frame (it is an alloy frame window with a glass window, that used to be able to open it). 4. My family and I went for a morning walk after having dinner, it was so fun until we passed an area near the parking car area, which also smelled strongly of urinal. It could be a better experience.

It is necessary to pay serious attention to ensure that the condition of the room or space without windows or light remains comfortable, does not feel damp, musty, or stuffy.

There's no mirror in the room. The only mirror is in the bathroom.

The view is great, but it's a shame the balcony is only available in suite rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are good, including a cafe. It's just a shame the pool is a bit dirty and there's no changing room, just a shower area.

The hotel is beautiful, well-appointed, and very spacious, blending in with nature. The breakfast is unique and perfect for families on vacation.

Hidden gem found! An extraordinary hotel in the middle of the woods! Didn't expect it to be as special as this. Staffs have excellent service! Will definitely recommend to everyone.
