Lovely hotel with a fun bar area downstairs, and it’s a dog friendly hotel! The room was clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds.

Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. While the staff was very nice, that couldn't make up for the fact that the room, bathroom, and towels were dirty. The bathroom smelled like sewage. I also booked this hotel in large part because they said they had air conditioning, but when we got back to the hotel after a very hot and sunny day, we were told the hotel was still in heat mode and the AC didn't work. They told us to open our window to cool the room. All that did was let in the street noise. They did provide a small fan, but it didn't do much. There are many hotels to pick from in York, just pick a different one.

Great place to stay in York as it’s literally minutes from the Shambles and all the amenities around them along with York Minster. Plus a walkable distance from the train station, around 15 minutes

Very clean. The ventilation in yhe room was a little noisy and there was a smell coming from the sink in the bathroom sometimes

Lobby was nice and room was adequate. Gave us a ground floor accessible room telling us it was all they had for families. Staff were reasonably nice although with some attitude. Location was good

Stopped for two nights and really enjoyed our time here. Great check-in, friendly staff, lovely room and nice atmosphere overall, very modern. We didn't eat, but what we saw of other's meals it looked pretty decent. Would certainly stay again as location was good too.

Great location, lobby was very nice and had lots of sesting. The bar has great deals for students and we saved a lot of money eating and drinking here, plus it was yummy. Room was big and clean and the TV worked well. Gym was small but it was perfect for me to do a quick workout. Breakfast was good as well and had tons of options!

Hotel location was great, but rooms were a little stuffy. We were on level 4 and it was relatively sunny out. Good staff, late night bar staff need a little more training. Breakfast is worth missing
