Such an amazing experience, I would give more than 5 star I would! I travel frequently and usually stay at Hilton hotels, but staying at Ark Hotel was an unexpectedly wonderful experience far better than what I’ve received at many branded chains lately. Hilton, in particular, feels increasingly franchised and impersonal, with some staff seeming entitled and disconnected from what true hospitality should be. At Ark Hotel, I was warmly welcomed by Supervisor Riad and the amazing team Kiya, Thristarn, Zainabu, and the evening crew Kingsley and Samuel. They all went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. Their caring, professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out. A special thank you to the awesome supervisor Riad, who was the reason I initially booked the Hotel. And a heartfelt shoutout to Kiya and Jordan—they are the reason I kept extending my stay. I was only supposed to be there for two nights, but ended up staying much longer because they made me feel genuinely cared for, not just like another guest. I was hesitant at first, but I’m so glad I gave Ark a chance. The amenities are top-notch, the environment is safe and peaceful, and I haven’t slept this well in years—literally got a full 10 hours of rest, which never happens! Ark Hotel has truly raised the bar. I’ll definitely be back, and highly recommend it to any traveler looking for a hotel that truly understands hospitality.

The bed offered is not a double bed, water didn’t halfway through the night, toilet is unreasonably small, studio space with a kitchen but no cutlery/plates/glasses or any type of kitchen equipment. Staff were really helpful however but I will not be back here again.

Nothing worked in the room. The TV had no channels that work. Shaver socket and 4 of the 6 plug sockets also didnt work. I was describe the condition of the room as "unacceptable". Multiple.scuffs, scrapes and broken bits including the bedside light and the shower door. I am 5'6 and weight 65kg and I found the shower a tight squeeze, with a sink so small you could only wash one hand at a time. If we had hoped to use the cooker, hob or sink in the room - think again. No plates, bowels, cutlery or glasses. Useless. The bedroom windows didnt stay open because of broken handles so we used the one teaspoon in the room to proper a window open. It was still insanely hot especially as the aircon also wasnt working.

I cancelled my reservation due to the room being too small and the bathroom was the size of an airport bathroom.

Bed mattress had serious stains on it. No one cleaned my room all week. Didn't feel like a high end hotel, but cost as much as one. No parking provided, this is not clearly stated on the site, you supposedly need to book significantly in advance, but there must be no where near as many spaces as rooms. Room was tiny and uncomfortable, too hot, no air con. Staff were very friendly though and tried their best to accommodate. Gym facilities are great, pool was great and in fact very impressive, but doesn't make up for the discomfort of the room. Very expensive for what you get. Bar was closed, The train goes past every 10 minutes and is very loud, difficult to sleep. I only really booked here because it was near the job site I was working on. Very expensive for what you get. The rooms are TINY, but it's London Canary Wharf so I guess that's what people have become to expect. Race to the bottom quality and cost. Bet the staff get peanuts and the owners pay themselves millions in bonuses just like everything else. Will Definity never stay here again, you couldn't pay me to. Supposedly like £1700 a month to rent one of these prison cells. Thank god I don't live here 😨

Student accomodation re marketed as a hotel. disgraceful service when we raised issues about a small bed with dip in middle. No extra pillows. Faulty plumbing making noises every three minutes. No TV without showing licence. Poor service and Expedia refused to move us.

I have stayed here previously for business trips, however this most recent trip was far from good! Check in was easy - I got to my room. In my wardrobe were people’s dirty clothes leftover - clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The shower was dirty and the shower door was hanging off. There was an awful smell coming from the kitchen area in the studio. Overall this was a really unpleasant stay and the standards were definitely not up to expectation.

Overall the facilities and location were good for the price. Room didn’t look quite like the pictures, just the bare room no crockery etc. No lockers to put your things at the pool just had to leave at the side. Very loud every time a train goes past

Booked a studio but although it came with a hob and microwave it didn't have any cutlery, pot/pans or even a kettle. To operate the tv you were requested to enter a tv licence number, this was eventually sorted by reception. Fantastic pool but no clothes storing facilities.

On the evening of 3rd May, at approximately 9:20pm, we contacted reception to request additional towels after using the pool facilities. To our surprise, the staff member who answered the phone after attempting to phone through 8 times initially denied our request and only relented after we explained in detail why we needed more towels. This interaction was unnecessarily difficult and made us feel uncomfortable, as basic amenities like fresh towels should be readily available to guests without justification. In addition, we also requested an extra duvet, which was flatly refused by the same staff member. He stated, in a dismissive and rude tone, that Ark is “a co-living space and not a hotel.” Despite the property being advertised as a hotel. Regardless of the model of your accommodation, courtesy and reasonable guest support should be a priority. The manner in which we were spoken to was unacceptable and unprofessional. Prior to calling, we attempted to contact Ark via the advertised messaging system but received no response, leaving us with no option but to call. The lack of timely communication and the unfriendly attitude we encountered significantly impacted our experience. We were placed in a room opposite the lift and could hear it all night. We requested to be moved and this was also denied. The room came with a kitchenette but absolutely no cooking utensils, we had to request them and when they arrived they were dirty. Would not stay again or recommend.
