Liked the staffs & amnities but street is unpaved & dusty.

A simple and clean small hotel. The staff is helpful and polite.

Clean modern hotel, great staff. Sometimes they couldn't understand me, but then they would call in someone who could speak better English. I stay here four days, took a trip the staff helped organize and then returned to this hotel till I left Mandalay. I started walking around the area. Stores and restaurants were close so I could avoid the healthy taxi prices when I was hungry. The road is torn up in front of the hotel but I feel sure it will be reapaired eventually. Try the shaved ice cream around the corner from the hotel. The staff welcomed me back after my side trip to Bagan and Inle Lake, with a hand drawn welcome back sign in the lobby. It was so nice. Great breakfast. The bathroom has new fixtures but there is no shower curtain and the floor and toilet can be wet for a while. There are rubber shoes to wear until the floor dries. I did not learn how to get hot water for my shower and it just didn't remain enough of a problem for me to ask at the front desk about it. This is a great hotel for the money.

Clean modern hotel. Great view from my window of pastel colored buildings and houses in Mandalay. Breakfast was varied and my eggs were always just as I like them. The staff were extra special, friendly and helpful. Helped me take a trip to Lake Inle and Bagan. When I came back Schwe ye had made a great welcoming sign in colorful chalks just for me. I loved it. There are stores and restaurants near. Check out the shaved ice shop right around the corner. I've never had anything like it. I stayed here four days. It was a great home base.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The staff helped me book trips to Bagan and Lake Inle. The room was just fine. Breakfast was perfect. Staff were helpful, funny, and friendly. The only problem with my room was I never learned how to get a hot shower. There was probably a simple way to turn the temperature up but I didn't ask. After a few days of high taxi costs to find a restaurant I just walked until I found one. I felt very safe. The hotel is modern but the road outside is pretty bad and can be quite muddy after a rain. Still it was manageable. Loved Mandalay. Especially the view from the breakfast room. The view out my window looked like a painting and I could see the monks walking.
