The live music in the gold floor lounge - perfect

The front desk staff really went above and beyond to make my stay over the holidays great! The rooms were well appointed and beautiful.

I thought the Fairmont in San Francisco was the best, but our Gold Suite at the Royal York put SF to shame. The suite, the exclusive lounge, the exclusive elevator — it was definitely worth the price. I can’t recall the last time I had a hotel room that made me want to stay inside all day, but this one did. Splurge and do it.

The trip was excellent.We attended a concert and I treated my mom to the gold room. However, I booked their hotels.com and then the fair amount when checking in.They charged me again for the room. Which i'm waiting for the money back. Not sure why this happened and hopefully it gets resolved this week. Other than not the hotel is one of my favorites.

Excellent stay- concierge was beyond impressive!

Booked the Royal Gold experience as a Christmas gift to ourselves. It was worth every penny. The ambiance, the facilities, the special lounge exclusively for Royal Gold clients. It was all lovely. Breakfast Was included, as well as afternoon tea, evening canapés and evening desert. There were also other bar and dining options but we never felt it necessary to partake of them. Plus, all of downtown Toronto’s attractions are literally right outside the door.

Hotel and staff were amazing but if you want to use the Bars in the Lobby then you might be disappointed as far too busy and always a hour waitlist!!

Very good gold service. Great staff at reception and especially in the special lounge where we had breakfast afternoon tea and after dinner relaxation We would like to give a special mention to Sahara Botzenhart who was so attentive by providing assistance and great service. She should get a promotion
