Great spot to stay! Friendly staff, food was usual pub grub but served piping hot and good portions. Outdoor seating area was fantastic and a nice way to finish off the evening before returning to our rooms each of the evenings. Rooms were lovely, touches like water and biscuits were a nice surprise. The only improvement I could say would be air conditioning but we also stayed during an unusually hot week. Would 100% stay here again if we were to visit any surrounding areas.

Clean room helpful staff good food

Bar staff inside were fast and trained. Bar staff outside in the extension seemed very young and um sure of themselves. Meaning they were not the fastest.

Fab room if a little small, shower was great!

I liked the property and enjoyed listening to the music from afar but the room I was in needed it's toilet cistern fixed as it run all night noisily and kept me awake at times. When I left there was no staff to report the fault. Also they don't serve breakfast.

this was a sports pub with rooms not a hotel. No breakfast available( which wasn’t made clear on booking) and no heating in bedroom in the morning. Room was fine if uninspiring and good refreshment tray for hot drinks.

Our room was clean, although my son's was not; it was covered in pet hairs, a dog? The bathroom was clean, but very cold, especially the floor, even though we put the radiator on straight away. It was a live music night, so was very noisy until the pub closed. I was OK with my sleeping tablet and ear plugs, after a previous stay on Boxing day! It is very convenient for my relatives, so I would stay here again.

Room ideal for my requirements. Friendly staff and comfortable bed.

Room was comfortable and clean, shower room was nice. Tea and coffee available in the room and plenty of TV channels. Staff were friendly and the bar downstairs was good but unfortunately it was very noisy due to a quiz (Wednesday) which you had to suffer in the room. In the morning the cleaning staff were playing music perhaps the radio which again you had to listen to. Honestly overall it was good and a solid place to stay.
