On a quieter side of town, very safe with good close options for dining within 2-3 block radius. Staff was friendly and very helpful with all our needs. Room was a bit lackluster, felt like the bedding wasnt overly clean

Room was warm and difficult to control the temperature. Location is great. 20min walk to Royal Mile. Food options close by. Would stay here again. 3.5 stars

The air conditioning works the way it wants. The personal who cleaned the room on sunday took My umbrella.

Would not let us check in until EXACTLY 3pm. Not 5 minutes early… The room was very small and could only get into bed from one side, meaning I had to climb over hubby to get out.

Clean room but the carpet was in bad shape. It had stains and was ripped.

Room was well organized

Room cleaning only on demand. Cleaning was only new towels, not cleaning neither room nor bathroom. Breakfast very simple with nearly everything was packed in plastic. Sustainability??

Was a little tricky to find when walking back at night, but may have been due, in part, to the construction. Was warm bright and helpful 24 hour desk, and wonderful stay!

Even if this was a chain hotel, the staff made it so welcoming that it felt like a a bed and breakfast with the comforts of a modern hotel. It is the staff that made it different from other chain hotels. The hotel was comfortable and well located with a tube 4 mins away, lots of bars and restaurants and on a rainy day or after a tiring day you can even just sit at the bar in the hotel and have food there. It is open late hours when everything else closes. Lovely experience!! Our stay at Edinburgh was enhanced because of our stay here!!

Very clean, great (walkable) location, nice staff. The room was a little small for our bags (we had one large checked bag and one carry on), so just be mindful of that. Still, we felt comfortable in the room. Everything was clean and easy to navigate.

Very helpful young lads at reception. Windows don't open and the air conditioning is unstable/inefficient which made for a very hot night. Staff lent us a little fan that helped. Otherwise the small room concept is fine and well executed. We would have enjoyed our short stay, were it on a cooler night.

Simple, room a bit small but very confortable, tech hotel!
