El hotel esta muy viejo, la habitacion se mira como un motel antiguo, pero la comida fue excelente, de eso si no hay duda. El aire acondicionado es muy viejo y suena muy fuerte.

Used to be the hotel at Asuncion, however the cleaning is terrible, they just have to improve that and their former glory could return. Such a small big detail.

The area around the property is not good,a lot empty buildings and houses in bad condition I think no body care about the city in the area and is bad for the tourists .

The breakfast was enjoyable, and the staff provided friendly service. However, the bathroom cleanliness was subpar, and the bathtub had drainage issues, which impacted the overall experience.

This hotel is very convenient to visit the historic district in Asuncion.

The young lady at the desk I morning was excellent . I think her name is Ana . Although I arrived early she did her best to get me a room before official C/in time.- very helpful. The hotel rooms are in need of some work urgently. Good buffet breakfast, very good location. Across the street a mall with a good court and also a market. Only about 4 blocks to historic downtown. Not enough money invested in that area and yipu vouu to le tell . I don’t criticize… just a fact. Next door to hotel I a night club for younger folks. It will be loud if you’re on that side of hotel. Overall sty was good except deterioration of hotel for which employees made up for by their good service . Thks

Liked the place but Saturday night,,,,middle of the night……heard noise coming from the discothequebeside…terrible…however, they gave me another room to finish the night….that was nice

I arrived very early and was still able to get a room. The breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and a/c was cool. The bar was a nice dpot for a few beers. Swimming pool was clan and refreshing. Great bargain for the price.Entire staff was outstanding

Tower one had two elevators and only one was working. The internet signal is bad.

It is my 4th or 5th time at the Excelsior, so obviously I am happy with the cost/when you get. Older hotel, a bit past its prime, but very nice staff, very good breakfast, always enjoy coming back. Plan on coming back.

All the workers was very friendly. Always greeting people with smiles. Only think I would recommend is remodel the bathroom?

I have previously stayed and extended my stay several times at the Excelsior, I definitely recommend the place and will come back. The new management is doing a great job improved the place, nicer breakfast buffet, little chocolate at night, wine, etc. But I urge them to be more careful on the checkout… at 08.45 I told them I was checking out, went to have breakfast then at 09.30 take a Uber (which was Bolt) to the airport. The management was very kind to call them - therefore once gone (50 minutes after I checked out) they ask the driver to come back because “I owe them money”… Obviously, this was an error, and they apologized, but it took quite some time. Good thing I had plenty of time for my flight. So again, recommend the hotel, will definitely come back - but PLEASE be more organized.
