Beautiful property

We had a great experience there. The staff was very friendly. The grounds are beautiful and the food was delicious.

What I liked about the property it is beautiful, the food was good and the staff were friendly and polite. The cushions on the sofa in my ocean front room were dirty, the sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom was broken and my $200+ in souvenirs were thrown away. Since I had valuable items that were present and not taken, I believe this was an act of carelessness. The resort’s remedy, which I reluctantly accepted, was to give me a $200 credit to its shops. I purchased T-shirts off property @ 3 for $19.99 versus $25 each at the resort. I paid $100 for a bottle of Hennessy on property versus $59 at the airport. Since I wasn’t made whole monetarily and security insulted my intelligence by insinuating that I may have left my bags somewhere else, I’m leaving TWO stars versus the FOUR stars I had planned to leave.

Property was nice. St.James does not really have any restaurants options so have to walk over to Wild Orchid for breakfast and dinner. Very nice pools and beach.

All around fun resort. Not to uppity or snooty.

It was the worst experience the room was supposed to be Ocean view and the give a corner room we ask for another room and no luck the staff is the most racist people I ever met you ask for something and they look away like you don't even exist specially if they know you Hispanic don't know why is that .that what staff member told us they know the same language that I know english.but they diced to speak to us and their language which is the english with Patua I believe I no shore is a beautiful place with no customer service to bad never coming back here again. My room it was nice until I went to the balcony and it was dirty with construction debris. I asked one of the pool staff for a Perrier water, but he didn't pay attention. Then the pool bartender repeated it and tried to bring it to me. My husband also asked for it, but he didn't want to give it to us. The pool bartender was the one who brought me the drinks not the server had the worst attitude against me and my husband and we didn’t know why or maybe I knew why .but that ok because we are not coming back to the hotel ever again there better place and better customer service.

I loved everything so quiet at nite

First ever all inclusive. Not having tob look at prices , or need to carry a wallet or id was awesome. Swim suit & shoes only requirements is my kind of life

Clean resort, great staff, rooms spacious but need renovations-they are older. A lot to do at resort overall nice stay but would not book there again

Managers Richard and Sanya in were amazing! We had a few hiccups during our first couple of days and they both went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The property was well kept and up to our standards. Secrets was a great choice but I would give it a 3.5/5 overall. I recommend booking the preferred suites for a 4.5/5 experience.

Beautiful hotel. Clean rooms, nice pools. Staff were incredible! So friendly and accommodating. Had one small problem with AC not working in our room but they immediately addressed it, helped us move to a better room and gave us ‘preferred’ status to enjoy more perks. Would def stay there again and recommend.

The resort was clean but all restaurants close to early and hard to find decent food after 10p. The bartender Mama at St James was amazing

We did not have a great experience at this property. Two of our friends had no working air conditioning even after switching rooms. We were told mixed messages about eating at Hibachi and even after being charged for a bottle of wine to get a reservation the restaurant has no record of it. The food was mediocre. The bar tenders were great and the piano bar was a lot of fun.

My stay at Secrets St. James was ok. The food and drinks were good, but the customer service needs improvement. This rating takes into account room wasnt ready on arrival, staff didnt restock room drinks, didnt get my birthday door sash or other items, and some of the staff had bad attitudes.

This resort has everything you need & want on vacay... you don't have to leave the property. I shopped at all of the on-site boutiques & bought souvenirs & knickknacks. I literally ate & drank all day long... between room sevice, all of the beautiful restaurants, grills, jerk chicken cart & bars. This was my 1st time staying a Secrets resort, but it definitely won't be my last. Thanks to all of the hard-working staff at Secrets!!!

What you see what you get overall the stay was wonderful the workers was awesome respectful caring & loving. Room service was a plus. View was great!

Hotel is very good , beach position is famtatsic. Beach os narrow but sea is fabulous and sand is nice. Food is very average and drinks are decent but not top level. The hotel is older but still its nice. Cleaners are very nice and good. We will go back at some point. Beds are comfortable.
