We had a fantastic stay and our lodging was a huge bonus. The location is incredible and our place on the first floor was full of character. Exposed stone and beautiful wood flooring. It was large and we had a ton of room (even a closet/changing area with shelving and hanging space). The bathroom was awesome - it was huge and had very nice finishes with an excellent shower. The owner/representative was super responsive and worked with us in so many ways. She accommodated an early check in and even a late check out and easily facilitated payment. She also helped with recommendations for breakfast when we arrived on a red eye. The only possible issue is that the location is so central that it is literally in the middle of the Dubrovnik fun, which made it a little loud in the evenings. We were initially concerned but ended up finding it completely manageable and we loved being right near our hotel as we finished our evenings. The chatter outside was charming. On the last morning, a parade came down the main street and we were able to watch from our room -- a special experience! We highly recommend staying here. Enjoy!

They picked us up at the airport and took us directly to Polce Gate where someone was waiting for us to take us to the apartment. The beds were comfortable and the location could not have been better. We were able to explore the old town and come back to the apartment easily throughout the day. Would highly recommend staying here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the upgraded room was nice versus some of the other smaller rooms I saw. No shower, just a bathtub with no curtain in my room, but lots of towels were provided. Bedding was nice and a/c worked very well. The property could not be better located and that comes with lots of noise and church bells. I would stay again

While it was a lovely and spacious room, the negatives far outweigh the positives. I expect a 4 star hotel to have a Nespresso, not just instant coffee, and to use a topper when they put two twins together (to avoid the crack). I could ignore that and the Euro shower (i.e.,only handheld with a tub) but this hotel is above an Irish pub! That means loud music until midnight and VERY loud voices until 2AM or later. Even the earplugs they left didn't help. I regret to say I'd neither stay here again nor recommend it. All that said, them hotel was understanding and refunded my remaining stay.

Our relationship began just after booking. Paula helped arrange private guided tours of the Walls and Old City. She gave us many tips to help plan our stay. Since the property is in the Old City there is little motor vehicle access. Do not let this deter you. Villa 5db is close to the Ploce Gate and hotel staff helped us with our luggage. They helped us arrange ground transportation to / from the airport as well as to destinations outside the Old City. Brik was a great room. The bedroom, bathroom, and closet were spacious which made things easier. The shower deserves special mention for ease of operation and great water pressure. Housekeeping kept it very clean and was unobtrusive during our stay. The A/C and heating was controllable by the guest and performed well. The location of the property was close to great restaurants and historic sites to explore. The security of the property was appreciated.

The worst night sleep ever ! And paid 350 euro per night for the pleasure Music from clubs next door until 3am an then cafe below starts setting up furniture and playing more loud base music from 7am Shower runs cold after a few minutes And then they expect You to leave by 10am Won’t be returning

We stayed @ Villa 5db for 3 nights. We love this hotel - it’s in Old Town, so very convenient & easy to find. Our room was upgraded - thank you! Lots of eating places nearby. Make sure you bring your own shampoo/conditioner though. We asked the hotel to arrange our airport pick up. That was convenient & worked out very well. One of our scheduled group trips was cancelled but the hotel managed to work it out for me. In fact, I even got my dates mixed up & they accommodated the change. I would like to specially mention Paula & Josip. Paula communicated promptly prior to our trip. Once we got to Dubrovnik, we met front desk staff Josip. He was most helpful & even picked us up from drop off to make sure we didn’t get lost. I would text him if I had some questions - also very quick to respond.

Very clean rooms and friendly service

The location of the hotel was amazing — close to everything and easy to walk around. The staff was friendly when we did interact with them, but there was never anyone at the front desk. If you need assistance or if something happens at the property, you have to text or WhatsApp a number, and the response can take a while. The room itself was comfortable, and the bathroom was fine, nothing special but functional. Overall, it’s a good stay if you value location and don’t mind limited on-site service.

This place is right off the pedestrian mall in the middle of Old Town. Perfect location. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

over-priced for such a small room and it would be okay if I could sleep, but they provide earplugs for the noise that does not stop before 3am even on weeknights, if you close the window it is suffocating, you choose. you have to text manager if don’t want to be interrupted in your room by cleaning, there was mold in shower.. website said they provided transfer to airport, but they do not, they “arrange” transport for $55Euro. no breakfast. wifi intermittent. and I am not normally picky but I did not enjoy my stay here.

Loved our stay here! This is a prime location in the old town if that’s what you’re looking for. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff is also very accommodating. Be aware you are on the main avenue of old town and it was quite loud late into the night-there are also a couple of very busy bars right next door. The villa does provide ear plugs, but honestly, we were so tired we didn’t need them lol! Would absolutely stay here again.

We had 4 floors to walk up, carrying heavy luggage all the way. No lift. 😕 The bathroom was super inconvenient - low slanted beams everywhere. My husband and I each hit our heads and we’re not tall people. There was no shower - just a deep bath w/a handheld and no handles to get in and out of tub. Not very safe.

We had an amazing stay at Villa 5db. It’s a prime location in the old town. Our room overlooked the main street in the old town. It was a modern style room that was spacious, with a huge bathroom and closet and immaculately clean. There were tons of dining options in and around the villa. We were in walking distance of all the major areas one should visit in the old town. Paula and her team were the best hosts. I asked her for recommendations for a hair salon so I could get a blow out. She not only recommended a place but she called and got me an appointment. Paula even helped to arrange a pick-up and drop-off to and from the airport. I would highly recommend you book the villa for your stay in Dubrovnik.

Located at the very heart of the old town in a renovated antoque building. Cannot be reached by car, but hotel personnel ( Josip) will help with the luggage. No lift, but Josip will help also here. Walking distance from any old town monument and restaurant. Lots of atmosphere and very cosy. A very interesting experience overall.
