What an incredible find! Simon was an exceptional host in English and French and runs a delightful B&B. The rooms were fun and exceptionally clean and completely equipped with all kinds of helpful touches from a spare toothbrush to a small jar of Q tips. The A/C kept our room exceptionally cool even for a humid July night. There was plenty of parking in the back, even an EV charger, and it's an easy drive from the spa we had been excited to visit as well as a number of hikes. Check in was easy, even though he had run out on an errand when we arrived. Simon is also a phenomenal chef! We were expecting a typical B&B breakfast of toast, bacon and eggs but were shocked to get a two course gourmet breakfast (one sweet course, one savory) with exceptional presentation! The first day we got braised pineapple with mango yogurt and toasted coconut followed by a poached egg with mushroom and spinach over a croissant. The next day we got crepes with pear, apple, black sesame, and cacao tahini followed by a second crepe with pesto and caramelized onion, pepper, and brie. If you can find another pair of guests who are interested, Simon can also provide you a phenomenal four course dinner right downstairs. You just need to have a party of four and let him know ahead of time, but "ahead of time" is pretty flexible because we didn't even ask until 4:30. He cooks, serves, cleans, and does it all himself! It's truly exceptional and very impressive! Overall, I cannot recommend highly enough!

Simon, the proprietar, was amazing!!! Breakfast is not to be missed. A 2 course meal with fresh juice and excellent coffee. Fresh fruits and vegetables, perfectly poached eggs and served per sitting table, NOT from a buffet setup or warming tray. Our room was cozy and charming. There us a window air-conditioner but otherwise very quiet and the location is perfect for exploring the center of town or the lakefront. Simon was very friendly and created a very comfortable atmosphere where all the guest could enjoy their stay. We wondered about all of our diet questions when checking in, but after the first morning's breakfast we understood. He wants it to be perfect. Success! Will be revisitng on our next visit to Magog!

We enjoyed our stay very much! We stayed two nights and the breakfast both mornings were outstanding, gourmet quality. Location was perfect with it being only blocks from many restaurants and shops. The room was cozy and the antiques on display were an added special touch. We would highly recommend Simon and his Bed & Bistro.

Auberge au charme unique, hôte très accueillant et que dire des déjeuners...tout à fait succulent et décadent. J'y retournerais sans aucune hésitation. À proximité du centre-ville, tout se fait à pied. Parking dans la rue sans problème, si l'espace du stationnement du B&B est occupé en totalité.

Simon’s gourmet breakfasts were second to none. Delicious and different daily- taste and presentation was amazing. He was very responsible during our stay, location is very close to restaurants and shopping. We will return to this B&B on our next visit to the area.

A memorable and charming Bed and Breakfast! Simon is a dedicated and artistic innkeeper- the rooms are charming and beautifully appointed with unique furnishings, art and accessories. The attention to detail is remarkable. Simon is also an artist at the stove- our breakfast was unforgettably delicious. If you can get a reservation, you will be in for a treat! The Inn is very walkable to the lake and the restaurants- and again Simon was really helpful to find a place that was perfect for us on a rainy day.

This b&b was one the best we ever went to. Simon is a wonderful host and person. The breakfasts were fabulous, a reason alone to stay here. Simon is culinary trained and it showed. The b&b was very close, walking, to the downtown area. Great antiques throughout and a room had a shower that looked like a phonebooth. Area is great to explore. A go to place to stay.

This Bed and breakfast was a really unique experience, and if I could give it an 11/10 I would. Simon really thought of everything when it comes to giving a guest what they might require. A charming house with all the little extras. The location was perfect- quiet, yet right around the corner to all the action… The highlight of this stay was the show stopping breakfast you’d be hard pressed to find anywhere in town. We will recommend this delight to anyone travelling to Magog, and will return ourselves in the future!

We feel very lucky to have stayed at La Maison de Ville and getting to meet Simon. Besides providing us with a delicious and artistic breakfast every morning he had some great suggestions of what to do in and around Magog. The property was very well maintained and beautifully decorated. The location in Magog was perfect, just a block away from the main street close to restaurants and shops.
