Wow, this was a very memorable experience for me staying 2 nights at Pondok Ilona. Check-in was easy. There was a Rp 100,000 deposit that was returned upon check-out. Access was very easy, right behind the Museum Angkut, even within walking distance. Not too far to Batu Square. The price offered was also affordable. Got a room under the garden view, very spacious, clean, and comfortable. So was the bathroom. The double bed that made 2 beds into 1 made it feel spacious. The blanket was thick. The pillows were clean and had 2 bolsters. That's rare, right? Many food carts and motorbikes selling things like chicken satay, meatballs, chicken noodles, and sekoteng (rice cake) were set up in front of the hotel, so you don't have to worry about going hungry even until midnight. Booked a room without breakfast, but if you're hungry in the afternoon or evening before 10 PM, you can also order from Hadar Resto & Cafe and they have delivery service to your room. Very satisfied. The staff was friendly and all the food was affordable. There is a swimming pool (I didn't take a photo of the pool) but it's only for children because it's small. But it was very cold. My son only lasted 10 minutes 🤣 Maybe it could be made more spacious with more warm water. On the floor near the swimming pool there is also a dispenser with gallons of mineral water. The parking area is quite spacious, there is an upper one and a larger one below. When I was going back to my hometown, I checked out at 5 am, the staff was still sleeping but quickly and kindly helped me with the check-out process and opened the gate because there was no one guarding it. Sorry, sir. And thank you.
