Local family owners who were really friendly, helpful and connected. Allowed us to participate in an unveiling ceremony of local art and even took us to their Church service on Sunday morning which was really special. Only $8 taxi ride to town when we needed to go, although most local operators were happy to drop off and pick up. Would definitely recommend to whanau and friends.

Winnie's was by far the best hotel I've stayed at in Tonga. The room was very clean, and the complex was enclosed with a tall wall and gate making the place feel very safe. Liz and Marc were very polite and hospitable. I will definitely be returning to Winnie's.

Winnie's B&B was a perfect place to stay in Nuku'alofa, Tonga. It was extremely well kept, laundry was done as a kind gesture, and the breakfast was a great start to the day. The family who lives there is very friendly and fun to talk to. The accommodation is quite close to the town center but far enough out for some quiet. The landscaping, plants, decorations, lighting, and mini waterfalls at night were also a really nice touch. Thank you!

The best room clean tidy shower is big aircon fan really nice stay and the owner mark and Liz was so awesome. Shops across the road and really close to town it was the best hotel for how much they charge if you want somewhere nice to stay I highly recommend.

Spotless clean room. Very attentive hosts, beautiful garden, with a patio to sit out on, well stocked kitchenette. Nice breakfast included. Comfortable bed. Great location a few minutes out of town. One of our favourite places we’ve stayed at. Loved having a very friendly dog around, added to our stay.

The owner Liz and staff were exceptional. The hospitality was great. First day home and already made a referral. They went above any expectations we had.

We enjoyed the quiet surroundings and beautiful garden setting with both sunny and shady areas. The room was very clean and well equipped. The host and her family were very kind and helpful and looked aftet us very well.

Liz runs an awesome B&B that's outstanding value for money. She provides a substantial continental breakfast daily that includes a delicious fruit platter. We also really appreciated the kitchenette in our spacious room with modern ensuite and the peaceful garden. In addition to having excellent rooms, Liz went out of her way to assist us in travelling to 'Eua and arranging an excellent driver, who took us on a lovely tour of Tongatapu as well as trips into town. We highly recommend this place! Mālō for everything, Liz!

If you’re finding it hard to choose a spot to stay for your trip in Tongatapu look no further! Lis and family went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, even Roxie the dog played her part adding to the overall welcomeness and sense of being part of a home away from home Winnies is known for Island wide. Everything is as listed and more. No doubt in my mind, Winnies will be our island HQ in trips to come!

Clean, well designed, practical, friendly host

The owner was really looking after me and helped me with several requests. Breakfast was good as well with fresh fruit, cereals and bread.

The place is very clean, quiet, and safe. There is a shop close by and pick up order place for meals. I highly recommend staying here when planning to visit Tonga. They can help arrange airport transfer and island tours

I enjoyed my stay, helpful staff and very good choice relative to the money charged. Need for transportation options varies btw. taxis and rent a cars, not very close to center of town.

Very good accommodation. Basic but with everything you need. Wifi included and smart TV in the room. The rooms face a very pleasant garden, with a porch perfect for enjoying the tranquility. The family that runs it is very kind and helps as much as they can. We would definitely stay again.
