A warm welcome awaited us at Frederiksværk Camping & Hostel when we had to take cover after two rainy days in our tent. The host was most kind and helpful, got us a last minute indoor stay at a great price, and a most needed hot cup of coffee. The camping space has a lovely forest trail and a canal, and a great atmosphere. If we ever go again we’ll make sure to stay for longer.

We were here for two night. We felt very welcomed and the staff was excellent - very nice, smiling and accommodating to our needs. We stayed in a mobile home, which had all we needed and was nice and clean. Its a simple Camping Area with all basic amenities and a nice playground for the kids. The location is excellent. Very close to the city center, and superb area for day trips.

Stayed for 3 nights. Very friendly welcome and offered coffee. Service building very clean and showers hot with good water pressure. Pitch was lovely too. Would definately visit again!

Handy for train into Copenhagen .. about 1hr 20 and a 9min walk to station from site. Site was ok .. hostel vibe .. stayed in camper so just used facilities. Basic toilet & showers .. water pressure rubbish if wanted warmer water. Service was friendly.

Not recommended at all. If I were you, I would try to not come to this camping. Although the receptionists were very nice and kind, the cabin was very dirty. we booked it 2 months before going and there was a used sock under the pillow. There's no excuse, they don't take the time to clean everything. Not only that but I literally couldn't sleep because there were 10 spiders without exaggerating and made the experience so awkward. I know the camping is in the middle of the nature but spiders don't go through walls. If there were so many spider webs it's because they didn't clean at all
