Very lovely, well-maintained and comfortable accommodation close to the cablecar station that takes you up the mountain. Has a nice restaurant and hiking equipment facilities on the ground floor.

It is clean, quiet, comfortable and safe, located within walking distance from the train station, two convenience stores and an onsen. The staff was polite and helpful.

Great location for different trails to hike. The food was very good in the hostel
I am very pleased with the staff who handled the check in. The place was so clean and organized so I definitely plan my stay here.

Great location if you want to get an early start on Mt. Takao.
Beds were much harder than expected but we only stayed one night and were tired after a long trip so it didn't impact us too much. Surprised by how large the room was (rented the family room/unit). If you don't bring towels you can rent a face towel, largest available, for a shower but really the face towel size was fine, not a big deal.

This hostel is very clean and the staff are friendly. There are equipment rentals and a cafe available! If I were to visit Takao san I would stay again!
This accommodation does not provide towels. They sell face towels for ¥330 at the counter but they are hopeless for showering. The cafe/bar was closed on Friday night (private hire in the day but didn’t open in the evening). There is plenty of mentions online that the cafe opens for breakfast at 7 AM. I discovered on Saturday morning that they don’t do any food until 11 AM. Takaosanguchi is hopeless for food, especially after 5 PM and before 10 AM, so you will have to rely on convenience stores. It is very difficult to get a proper meal in Takaosanguchi at any time.
