This was a great location to get to the train station and everything that Utrecht center has to offer… from shops, restaurants and coffee or drinks.

Great location, lovely staff, nice room. Hotel has old room charm, not modern sterile atmosphere. But, everything is nicely done.

Nice little boutique hotel in the centre of Utrecht

The Hunfeld is a great hotel in the heart of Utrecht. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and transportation. Room size is adequate and chrome-casting is available on the TV. Staff are friendly and helpful. We wouldn’t look elsewhere in Utrecht.

This is a nice hotel near the Dom and close to the heart of Utrecht. The rooms are comfortable.

Hotel was an easy walk to the train station. The area was historic, quiet, and full of bars and restaurants. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Would definitely stay here again!

Close to the train station and all shops, restaurants, etc. We loved the area. The layout of the hotel, with a lounge on each floor, was good. The room was small, which one wouldn’t have noticed as much if there had been a few shelves and hooks installed in the entrance area of the room. Then the clutter wouldn’t have been concentrated in the sleeping area. And we would have used the lounge area for, you know, lounging, relaxing, computer time, etc., but the piped-in sound was too loud, and sooo not to our taste. And it started early in the morning! I did complain about this, and one day it ceased for a while. Such a relief. I realize the place is going for a cool vibe, but peace and quiet is what most travellers need when they’re been on the move all day or are getting their day started.

Strong wallet friendly choice in Utrecht. Great location, surrounded by old city, dining and shopping . Not fancy more classic European style hotel.

Honestly didn’t expect much considering it’s right in the city and I just needed to stay one night. But it was super convenient to parking garage and station. Next to the Dom! Right in the middle of everything you want to see in Utrecht. And surprisingly while my room was facing a usually busy street, it was quiet in the room! Was so happy with that. I felt it was spacious enough for me (although if you’re with other people having the toilet right there and the sink is in the room, I would upgrade for a larger room). Staff were amazing and kind. Hotel is just beautiful, I did not find any flaws.

Perfect location to walk to key sites, quiet at night for sleeping. Many cafes nearby. Bed was comfortable, AC worked well. Very quaint building, friendly staff. Free coffee was a bonus, and nice to have shared lounges for extra space.

Amazing location right by the action but also the train station! It was so lively outside but somehow quiet inside. It was the perfect base for a trip to the Netherlands.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hunfeld. The hotel was located 10 minutes walk from the central train station of Utrecht. It was right in the heart of things in there Utrect with restaurants and bars right outside your door and a 5 to 6 minute walk to all the major attractions and canals. There was a lounge that was accessible with coffee and tea and hot chocolate all day long. It was nice to have another spot to go and read a book or get some work done. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. I can’t think of anything negative about this hotel. There was also a very good elevator, which is hard to find sometimes in the Netherlands. The shower was very good, which is always a plus.
