The vacation started poorly with a 3 hour check in for my entire group. This was due confusion, short staff, miscommunication and constant interruption. We had a total of 6 room changes for various issues and some of the staff were attitudinal. However i will say that after the formal complaint was made, the hotel manager was very respectful and treated us with dignity. His team assited in room changes, booking the restaurants though the most important one we were looking forward to was canceled and therefore the birthday celebration happened in the buffet but was competing with Jamaica night...which was disappointing. Regarding the food, the jamican dishes were on point. I wont speak of any other dishes. I think they are transitioning and i would want to visit again without a group and give them another opportunity to showcase their 5 star qualities.
