I came here with my parents and a friend. My mom had originally booked us a space here because she grew up in this exact 眷村 so we were excited to see the space. The host was great and greeted us warmly. She also gave great explanations of the history of the area and space. There are so many retro decorations in the main house and the side rooms. There are also lots of sitting areas and games to try out as well. You can see the care and thought they put into every item. The rooms are very clean and stocked with basic necessities as well as modern necessities such as air conditioner, tv and WiFi. There are some mosquitos but they give you lots of mosquito removal supplies. Additionally, since it is an old space - sound insulation is non existent. I was living in one of the side rooms and could hear everything my neighbors were doing in the bathroom… Great price for each room as well. Definitely an interesting experience and recommended to try out!

Quaint B&B in 高雄 that's handy to public transport and situated in a lovely historical part of this fine city. Our stay was short, and so are the door heights so duck!

Love this place!! Great host and perfect for family with kids. Our little one had fun staying here! Will definitely come back again!

Our first stay was yesterday. The kids loved the many souvenirs, and the dog slept soundly. The owners, a and her husband, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended!

The guesthouse in Huangpu New Village is charming and cozy. A double suite with a king-size bed is 2000 RMB on holidays. The two adjacent rooms (each with two single beds) are 1700 RMB on holidays. Breakfast is not included. The shared area is very artistic and elegant. The soundproofing isn't great due to the old building renovation, but fortunately there are only three rooms, all single-story, so there are no upstairs/downstairs issues. The double suite is in a different building from the other adjacent rooms and is a bit far from the main road, so traffic noise is manageable. It's only a 3-minute walk to Laya Burger for breakfast.
