Honest review: We were here for our honeymoon and birthdays and stayed on the el beso side. Nov 13-20. We were not privilege or members, just regulars. And no was not payed to write this, just thought it might help some. Pros: ✅Lazy river (recommend bringing your own floats) As much as you try to avoid getting wet, you’ll get soaked in some spots. Great to cool off in. Is a circle so you can just keep going or get off at the pool bar. ✅Market sellers (found they didn’t hassle much) Was able to use Canadian dollars too. Just think it’s a bit of a hassle for them to exchange but they’ll take it. ✅Adult pool- party pool. So many activities and the blue team was a hype. ✅Japanese Resturant (was neat seeing them make dinner and entertain) ✅Italian Resturant (amazing chicken parm and cannolis) Also cool they have a wine and ceaser salad cart that comes around to the tables. ✅ Wednesday dinner buffet at El Marcado (All). Had Mexican. So many options! ✅ Ocean burger. Had the Mexican burger. ✅ Fish fingers at the Pez Dama. Jerk chicken for dinner was good too. ✅ Mikes coffee 🙌🙌 their breakfast breads are great too. ✅ Icecream place yummm ✅ Staff: Shoutout to butler Jose Miguel! ✅ Other tourists. Found it so neat to see so many different people from all over the world. Used to traveling to Mexico and only seeing Americans/Fellow Canadians ✅ Drinks: Great. Try the passion fruit margarita. Had at the adult pool 🙌

This was a beautiful property but is still going through construction. I loved that we were upgraded to a nicer suite and the room was very spacious. We did want the jacuzzi that was on the roof top cleaned and asked if it could be but it seemed like they forgot. This wasn’t a big deal but something to note. I also liked that the property was very walkable and right on the beach. The only reason I have this place four stars was because we were pressured into listening to things for timeshare stuff and blah blah and it just felt like for the first time traveling to another country my husband and I had a hard time getting no across to the staff. Other than that the property was beautiful.

The room was beautiful and the cleaning service was consistent. The resort is beautiful and the lobby drinks were really good. The food was not that great it was edible but not the best. At Ocean burger I had a cold hot dog and there was a dead fly in my fries. The staff is not as interactive as other resorts I’ve been too but they are still very nice!

The full service was excellent including the staff customer service.

This was our 11th visit to Ocean El Faro-El Beso. We were always greeted with friendly smiles and happy staff who work very hard day in and day out. Our butler Jose Miguel Jiminez was exceptional, attentive and checked in with us daily throughout our two week stay, even on his days off. A vacation is what you make of it- there was always plenty of good food to eat, our rooms were clean, the lagoon was beautiful and the weather was perfect! Looking forward to coming back again in a few months.

Our stay was wonderful. All the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. A special mention goes to our concierge, Jose Miguel Jimenez, for his attentiveness to our group, always communicating with us and responding to each of our requests. All the hotel facilities are clean and well-maintained, the food is delicious, but the best thing about the hotel is the people who work there

The weather was great during our stay, but the hotel itself was disappointing. The food was awful, and although they gave us “ocean bucks,” we couldn’t use them anywhere, which made them pointless. There were no convenient snack options, which was frustrating. The hotel room was okay, but it definitely could have been cleaner. Overall, not the best experience.

Positives: -Staff was very friendly and always willing to help. -Pools and common areas were all very clean. -Most of the food was very good which is a great complement as Im picky with food coming from New York City area. -Atmosphere is very upscale -A lot of choices for things to do and restaurants to go too. Negatives that I personally found: -My main negative is how many people tried to sell us stuff!! Every day multiple times a day I had people asking if I want to do paid activities, paying for photos taken of us, people on the beach selling stuff, tables set up in the lobby area to buy stuff, and even wanting us to go to listen to a presentation for a free massage. This lowered my experience here a little bit. -Need more towels in pool areas. Found myself hunting down towels a lot -my room had 3 lights out in the room Overall I would recommend coming here as I went to the Hard Rock in Punta Cana which was more expensive and had just as great of an experience as there especially for a couple or an adult. The separate El Beso areas were great!

We had a great stay at Ocean el Faro el Beso. Miguel our concierge from expedia was extremely helpful and followed up with hotel right away about any requests we had (housekeeping, decorating the room for my husband's birthday) On our last day Miguel had one of the restaurants surprise us with a birthday cake it was a really sweet gesture. The resort is beautiful and we liked the walk from our room to the amenities. Somethings that need to change is resort staff trying to be your concierge just to send the guest to a presentation for "membership" in exchange of a free gift. It was so annoying and the agents got upset when we declined to make any purchases. It took half of our day from vacation. They were disappointed as if we set this meeting with them and then declined to continue. Dont put off your guests like that. No one is coming on a vacation to spend more money on a membership. The 2nd thing i would suggest is to have housekeeping clean the rooms properly. Everything was cleaned on the surface but not deep cleaned. We dont eat meat traveling but there were enough option at the buffet for vegetarians. The lunch buffet has the most options. The restaurants were not bad, we enjoyed sakura and margareita. The italian place was horrible except the dessert was good. Thanks again Miguel for everything :)

It was a good experience. We did see a few negative reviews about this place but it was a good experience for us, it’s all subjective it seems. The food was decent, drinks were good and staff were good. Mario at the main lobby was the best bar attender and got the drinks right all the time! Definitely go see him for the hook up!! Maintenance of the rooms and some areas could be improved as it seems to have gone through a lot of wear and tear.

The stay at this hotel was great. The food was good and so were the drinks. The rooms were nice and clean. My butler Jose was also the best as he handled anything that I needed him to do and was able to accommodate me in anyway possible. I would stay here again

This resort was phenomenal. Having the adults only part of the resort and peaceful. The service was great, the food was great. Definitely get a massage and the body scrub at their spa. We cannot wait to visit again. The house keepers were attentive. The swim bar was excellent make sure you see Francis.

The BEST FOOD IN THE DR.!!!! I'm coming back for that alone. Some areas of the beach are unsightly, guess they're working on something unknown to guests. My rooftop suite had everything I needed and more room than expected.

Después de haber estado en agosto en otro hotel de Punta Cana, donde la experiencia fue maravillosa, llegamos a El Beso con altas expectativas que no fueron satisfechas. La habitación bonita pero muy básica para ser un hotel moderno. El mayordomo apareció el primer día y no lo volvimos a ver. Aquí la mayoría del personal olvidó lo que es el servicio, la amabilidad y la cortesía. Aquí son muy pocos los que sonríen y buscan agradarte (mi pareja y yo usualmente damos buenas propinas) no tratan (como en otros hoteles) de buscarte la vuelta y que una termine complacido. La calidad de la comida tampoco es lo que esperaba, nunca encontré un trago que de verdad me gustara y la animación dejó mucho que desear. En fin, es un hotel para estar solo 2 o 3 días. En lo personal, yo no volveré. Y llevo 22 años viajando a Punta Cana, La Romana y Puerto Plata a vacacionar!

Todo muy bonito, el Resort muy limpio, los empleados, súper serviciales y la persona que nos estuvo cuidando y guiando por todas las facilidades fue súper excelente, su nombre es Kevin Paulino nos ayudó en todo momento con las reservaciones para los restaurantes,con las giras fuera del Resort y fue muy amable desde el check in hasta el check Out volveremos pronto Muchas gracias a Kevin Paulino, por hacer de nuestras vacaciones, unas muy placenteras
