It was quiet. I liked that. The run down feeling of the place I didn't like.

Beautiful garden and kind owner.

The property was secluded and peaceful with a very lush garden. The hostess was very nice and helpful.

Best Place for nature lovers

My stay at Chi's Guesthouse was quite comfortable. It offered a little snippet into Barbadian culture, as it is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The area is also safe, so it's perfect for early morning walks. There's also a garden, and the host is very friendly.

was not great... 90s outdated fridge that did not freeze or keep food from spoiling... cost of paying for a/c use was not attractive. bathroom toilet did not flush well... host was hungry for me to stay more days... heck no!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was well looked after. Mrs. Preece is expertly hospitable and I enjoyed the greenery surrounding the location! Thank you again.

I had a great time at Barbados CHI guest house and the hostess Christy was a delight. The location is perfect - an easy walk or minivan ride to the beach. The gardens were beautiful creating a peaceful atmosphere and Christy is a actual master gardener. I loved to hear the singing frogs at night and the various birds during the day. For a stay with peace and quiet with easy access and opportunity to experience Barbadian daily living, beaches, and culture—this is the place to be. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

it was below expectation

For me the best part of travel is the people I meet and experiences I have.Christy and Victor showed us the most wonderful time! Whether it was sitting by a bonfire in the garden, serving us local Bajan food, or taking us to the local farmer's market, all of the care they take with their guests makes for a very special and memorable and trip. At the end of a long beach day or trip around the island it was so nice to come back and sit on the veranda overlooking the garden with a nice glass of wine and catch up with our hosts. My daughter and I, had a wonderful time in Barbados and we have Christy and Victor to thank for it.

I simply need to go back as soon as possible. Christie and her team were amazing. I enjoyed every second of my stay. I learned so much and had so many wonderful conversations with the other guests. I have to recommend Chi Gardens for anyone wanting a peaceful experience while in Barbados. The garden is simple breath taking. I’m happy I chose to stay here for my first trip to Barbados.

The website was misleading/deceptive. I would strongly recommend not staying at this facility.

It was ok. Just had a little problem with the entrance, there were no light by the gate.

Wasn’t too bad; just sucked that I didn’t do any further research in regards to how far it was from everything. I was under the impression that I could be able to walk around. Definitely need a taxi. But besides from that, it was cool.

The apartment is located in a private house located in a nice area and quiet of Bridgetown. The house is very near both the major freeway and the downtown. The place has a private entrance and everything needed for a quiet and relaxing stay.

A fantastic time surely to be repeated! We were looking for a nice place to stay in Barbados, outside of a resort experience, to learn more about the culture, the people. The Barbados CHI Centre was just that! The cottage-like house is situated in the middle of a magnificent garden (some times the man looking after it may be around an give you a tour, thanks Box!) in a quiet cul-de-sac, and only a 30-min walk to the city, 5 to a busy road where minivans and buses stop. We used it as our headquarters while visiting Bridgetown. For us, having also the opportunity of interacting with the hosts, Ellen and Christian, was what made our stay supreme! They went above and beyond in making sure our stay was great, and they definitely did. We felt really welcomed and definitely come back if we are in the area.

A very unique setting , very different to where I would normally stay. But unique turned out to be extremely rewarding . Very quiet and naturistic settings in an old elegantly put together house. Its like a plantation house with lots of space .The owner closes the deal for me . Christy was extremely friendly and helpful , always willing to get anything that is needed . Chi Center is away from the beaten path but well within reach of downtown Bridgetown. Its the gem waiting to be discovered

For me with a damaged ankle i had to pay for a taxi to get me home every night. A bit hippie but Chrisy would help as much she can. Ran out of toilet roll. Overall the next time i go i would get a place closer to the beach

It was good. Just needed a play to rest my head while away for a couple of days. Everything from the hotel to staff was just wonderful.
