Our stay at The Cliffs Hotel was absolutely wonderful, largely thanks to our host Sandria, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. With only one other couple staying at the property, it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. It truly has the feel of a local hidden gem, but with all the amenities you would expect from a full-blown resort. The food and drinks were fantastic, and we especially appreciated the welcome drink upon arrival. The convenient shuttle service to the beach property was a huge plus. The views from the cliffs are simply breathtaking, and the pool offers a stunning vantage point to take it all in. Overall, it's a wonderfully relaxing spot. While we enjoyed a fantastic girls' trip, this location would also be perfect for a romantic couples' getaway. We were very glad we had a rental car, as the hotel is located a bit down the road from the main dining spots and other beach resorts, making it a bit tricky to get around without your own transportation, unless you take the shuttle.

I stayed here one night. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. There was a hammock on our balcony that I didn't try because I'm clumsy. The views were gorgeous. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. There was a guard dog on the property. I don't know if it's official or if the dog gave himself the title, but he did his duty and kept the other animals away from the rooms. 😀 I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it's right next to the beach with more stunning views. I would stay here again.

I really enjoyed my time here. At first I thought that it was quiet. But that is the beauty of it! It was a nice quiet and beautiful environment with lots of trees and breathtaking views from the cliff. I also had access to the other properties and the staff were great (big up to Hopeton and Kobe at Idle awhile beach). If you want to simply relax, this is the place.

Delicious casual meals and a quiet relaxing atmosphere. Short cliff jump into the ocean and some decent snorkeling just off the resort. If you want to feel like you own the spot this is it. Some nice wildlife here too.

Just got back from a two night stay at the cliffs and while this wasn’t the first trip I’m afraid it will be the last until the Issa’s wake up and stop treating this property like an unwanted step child. The reason I love the Cliffs is because it’s small, secluded and peaceful. The staff are sweet, very helpful and hospitable. The room style is actually my favorite i.e. eclectic meets rustic, BUT they clearly have not been renovated in yearsss. Appliances are wayyy outdated and rusting, I had to clean the fungus out of the nooks of the fridge, the toilet was disgraceful (truth be told the room should have been blocked off just based on the condition of the toilet alone), WIFI was very spotty, I’m pretty sure I was using my data most of the time even though this amenity comes with the cost of the room. The drain kept making noise every time we used the sink or took a shower. The mosquitos in the room were a nuisance even with the AC on . The room phone wasn’t working so we had to walk every time we needed something. From the glimpse that I got of the beach resort, it looks as though it also needs some TLC. Maybe if you’re thinking about one of these properties your best bet is the Villa location until these are renovated. Shane, Chef and Prince were great! Please don’t let this property deteriorate any further. There are not a lot of nice boutique hotels left in Negril, it would be a shame!
