The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location is excellent.

My stay at the Gate was great! The room was perfect - clean, roomy and comfortable! We managed to check in early at no cost thanks to Victoria! She was really friendly and helpful and made my stay. The access to the lounge is a great touch- with free soft drinks 24/7. The terrace outside would be lovely in the summer.

Brilliant welcoming team. The hotel is spotless from entrance to the room and the 5th floor dining space. Free hot and cold drinks all day. Housekeeping every 3rd day. Location is perfect for Aldgate East tube and Spitalfields market is minutes away for great food and drinks. Lively market for clothing etc included. Thus will be our London base for the future

Clean room. Easy self checkin

Super clean, really well appointed rooms. They’ve taken so many considerations about what travellers really need. Lots of storage, utensils/cutlery/mugs etc, everything you need really. And the beds are fantastic!

This hotel is lovely. In a really convenient location, out of the way enough to feel quiet, but only a 5 minute walk to tube. Staff are friendly, breakfast was decent, room was lovely and had great views.
