During my stay I was unable to turn on the bedroom heater. Which made it very cold during the night. It is a fun location, with a very nice cafe across the street. And the Vondel parc across the water.

Great spot to enjoy and explore the city. Comfortable and thoughtful room, cleaned and prepared carefully which I appreciated. Getting the code to enter the room didn’t happen automatically but once I had asked for it then coming and going was straightforward.

Booked this hotel as it looked really good online. Also have been looking for a hotel out of the city centre and close to the Vondel Park, for regular trips to Amsterdam. Broke three ribs prior to travel and so was unable to travel as was finding it difficult to walk. I realise a booked a non-refundable ticket, and requested a change of date. I thought that the hotel would have had a bit of sympathy for my situation. But no, they refused to move the date. This room could easily have been re-let given that it was marathon weekend. Its a shame, as I would have booked it in the future. Well, its the hotel that have lost out.
